  Perfect and Peaceful

  A perfect peaceful location set in beautiful grounds. The villa was everything we could have wished for and immaculately clean. Staff were all cheerful, friendly and attentive. I have celiacs and the chefs excelled in adapting foods to be gluten free even baking a selection of breads for me.   A very special hotel

  As a family of 4 with 2 teenagers, we loved this hotel. The staff are extremely attentive and kind and the food is excellent. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and exciting as there is lots of wildlife, including crocodiles in the water. The place has a great atmosphere and the rooms are super deluxe. The housekeeping staff made animals out of our towels each day, which we all loved! Special mention to our butler, Lilesh. Nothing was too much trouble, including an early morning start so that we could climb Sigiriya. Special mention also to Avishka who was so kind and looked after us superbly in the restaurant.   A wonderful nature filled stay

  Water Garden Sigiriya was a truly wonderful experience, surrounded by nature at every turn. From crocodiles and monkeys to beautiful peacocks and many other wildlife, the property gave us a unique opportunity to enjoy Sri Lanka’s natural beauty up close.The view of Sigiriya Rock from the property was absolutely beautiful and made the experience even more special. The peaceful surroundings and connection with nature made it a perfect place to relax and unwind.A big shout-out to all the staff for their warm hospitality and excellent service.   Peaceful luxury mixed with simple natural beauty.

  We had the most amazing stay at the water garden in august. The scenery was beautifully maintained giving such a sense of tranquility mixed with thoughtful luxury. The open view as you enter the reception area with direct view of the sigiriya rock fortress was one of the highlights.The Chalets were beautiful and designed well with natural vegetation to maintain privacy yet still felt open and connected to the property.The staff were so accommodative to ensure that we were as comfortable as possible.Madhushan was such an attentive dining host and went above and beyond to accommodate our favourite meals. After having mentioned that we were fans of seafood we found all our meals regardless of choice to have a complimentary addition of some personal seafood preparation on the side which were all delicious and paired well with our meal choices. (Dining was an experience on its own too with wild peacocks walking by the dining area in the mornings in search of their own breakfast)Our allocated personal butler shehan spoke perfect English and was always on hand via a private WhatsApp QR code contact (this was great to maintain our mobile number privacy) and had many great recommendations throughout our stay.We had a relaxing evening at the spa which was a perfect accompaniment to our stay and I'd recommend that as a must do. (Enhances the peaceful sense of the property)We appreciated the property manager David meeting us on arrival and the little small talk we had with him made us feel very welcome, he also helped me plan a proposal to my fiancé which was the purpose of my visit, he and his staff maintained perfect secrecy and helped me plan a beautiful evening with great suggestions on locations to dine and finally propose (including video footage prior to my arrival). They decorated both locations beautifully with petals and candles and it was very tastefully done.All things considered it was a very memorable stay for us. We will most certainly be visiting again soon.   An Unforgettable Stay at Water Garden Sigiriya Resort

  Our stay at Water Garden Sigiriya Resort was truly exceptional, and we left with beautiful memories that will stay with us forever.A special mention must go to General Manager Mr. David, who runs the entire operation so smoothly—just like a captain sailing a ship effortlessly through calm waters. His leadership and attention to detail are clearly reflected throughout the resort.We received such a warm welcome from Rasika and the entire Front Office team, who made us feel comfortable and genuinely valued from the moment we arrived.The resort itself is simply breathtaking. The beautiful surroundings, stunning views, connection with nature, and exceptional luxury services create an experience that is very difficult to match. We were also incredibly lucky to participate in the Aluth Sahal Mangalya, a beautiful and meaningful traditional Sri Lankan ceremony. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience and appreciate our culture during our stay.Our villa was super comfortable, beautifully maintained, and absolutely spotless. A big thank you to the housekeeping team—Pradeep, Chamalka, Daham, and Sasindu—for taking such wonderful care of our villa. You all did a fabulous job!And the food… simply amazing! ??
