    ?????????? An unforgettable stay – exceeded every expectation!Our stay at Uga Jungle Beach was absolutely incredible and genuinely exceeded all our expectations. From the stunning setting and beautiful accommodation to the wonderful staff, we felt so well looked after from the moment we arrived.What really stood out was the level of genuine care and kindness shown to us. I had been unwell during our trip, and every single day the staff brought me ginger tea to help settle my stomach. It was such a thoughtful touch and a perfect example of the personal care we experienced throughout our stay.Then, unfortunately, I hurt my back and needed an extra massage to help ease the pain. Again, nothing was ever too much trouble. The staff were incredibly attentive, caring and accommodating.Uga Jungle Beach didn’t just live up to our expectations — they went above and beyond them in every possible way. The resort itself is stunning, but it is the people, their warmth, kindness and genuine Sri Lankan hospitality that make this place truly special.We leave with wonderful memories and enormous appreciation for everyone who looked after us. It was the perfect end to our Sri Lankan adventure, and we would return in a heartbeat.Thank you to the entire Uga Jungle Beach team for making us feel so genuinely cared for. We cannot recommend this beautiful resort highly enough. ??????

    Just had a spa treatment at the hotel. Wife and I had treatments at the same time and both enjoyed it thoroughly. Balinese massage for her, deep tissue for me. Highly recommended ????

    A Paradise for Bird Lovers – Where the Jungle Meets the Beach

    Jungle Beach by Uga is a beautiful escape and an absolute paradise for bird and nature lovers. The perfect blend of jungle, lagoon and beach gives you the best of all worlds.The Lagoon Rooms are highly underrated — peaceful, private and perfect for spending hours by the lagoon spotting birds, while the beach is just a few steps away.We travelled with our 3-year-old son, and the enthusiastic team made nature come alive for him from the moment we arrived — showing him crocodiles in the lagoon, helping him spot an owl and turning bird spotting into his favourite activity! In just two days, we spotted over 20 different varieties of birds & animals. The warmth of the property comes from its people, led by Dileep, a passionate hotelier whose enthusiasm reflects throughout his team. A special mention to the F&B team, who ensured our little boy had meals suited to him and happily engaged with him so we could enjoy ours too.The naturalist was equally enthusiatic & took the time to explain the different birds and animals we encountered during our stay.A wonderful place to unwind, with the jungle and lagoon on one side and the beach on the other. And with Trincomalee just around 30 minutes away, our whale-watching experience was the perfect addition to the trip.Beautiful nature, warm hospitality and a truly memorable family experience.

    Beautiful natural scenery and amazing hotel team

    Amazing hotel. Beautiful intersection of jungle and beach. The yellow/black sand is gorgeous, super fine and soft to walk on. Kids loved finding shells (which we left on beach as kids learnt the shells are important for the local ecosystem). It was incredible there is a naturalist in the hotel team! Looking forward to learning more about the local wildlife in future visits. Would have loved a session with him or walking tour. Close to Trincomalee with beautiful temple on the top of the cliff. Local sale market. Local people were kind and lovely. The best part of our trip were the hotel staff. All very kind! They helped us accommodate meals for the 3 year old. Chef made delicious homemade nuggets that was loved by kids and adults alike. We got delicious Sri Lankan Massala Chai every morning and chilli paste with meals. Meals were very kid friendly. Lots of Western options and Sri Lankan options had many dishes without chilli. Special veg menu on Fridays. Rooms were gorgeous, well maintained and very clean. Lots of efforts to be eco friendly. Beach cabins have own access to the beach which was easier with two kids.

    Fantastic service from a hotel in a beautiful location

    Our stay at the Jungle Beach hotel was excellent. We were very fortunate to be upgraded to a beachfront villa and the location and the set up of the room was exceptional. The customer service in the hotel is better than any other hotel we have visited so far in Sri Lanka. The private beach is beautiful and tranquil and the seafood dinner we ate at the beach restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The breakfast choice was extensive, delicious and significant in amount you could order. Would fully recommend this hotel
