Location

With the perfect location on the famous Reduit Beach near Gros Islet, the hotel is just 25 minutes from George F. L. Charles Airport, 30 minutes from Downtown Castries and within walking distance of about 19 restaurants and bars.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 72 rooms. English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The holiday village has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus.

Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Guests can take advantage of the nightly turndown service. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The complex has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex includes a children's swimming area and is ideal for working out or just relaxing. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The complex offers outdoor sports, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, volleyball, fishing and horse riding or, for a fee, golf. A wide range of sports are available, including water sports such as windsurfing, catamaraning, kayaking and snorkelling or, for a fee, diving. Sport and leisure facilities at the complex include a gym, table tennis and aerobics. After a long day, guests can relax in the wellness area, which features a spa and hydrotherapy treatments. Massage treatments are among the facilities available for an extra fee. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and live music.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. Catering options include half board, full board and all-inclusive. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The holiday village offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    A Comfortable and Memorable Stay

    We had a wonderful stay! The surroundings were beautiful, the room was spotless, and the location was excellent. Each morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, which was a great start to the day.A special thank you to the receptionist and housekeeper, who were both knowledgeable, attentive, and quick to address any concerns, they truly added value to our experience.

    A little piece of paradise

    Recently returned from a two week stay at the Bay Gardens. Hotel met our expectations; we wanted a small hotel centrally located We knew it did not have beach access but this was not a problem with using the free shuttle bus service that ran every hour between there and the sister hotel Bay Gardens Beach Resort and Spa. We were met in Reception by wonderful, friendly staff and a glass of rum punch on arrival. Very welcome after a long flight from the UK. The first night took a little getting used to as what we thought was a squeeky air con unit was in fact the whistling tree frogs that serenade you all night long, every night. But you get used to it. The meals were good, if a little repetitive and the vegetarian option was limited. We ate at the sister hotel a few times as well as going to local restaurants during our time there, just for a change. Service could be slow but this is part of the culture of the Caribbean with a more laid back approach than what we are used to in the UK. Having said that all the staff, whether it be front of desk, bar, waiting, gardeners, chefs were all hard working and very accommodating and always service with a smile and very helpful. There was entertainment at the hotel on some nights and the guy who played and sang was really good. Also, must mention Silesa who helped with our luggage and sang beautifully (despite what my husband said to keep winding her up!!). There are a few cats (feral) that wander around but they are friendly. So much so, that twice we found one on the bed at 3 am after it had climbed up to our first floor balcony. From then on we made sure we only left it ajar a couple of inches during the night. I went for a few complimentary massages (as we were all inclusive) at the sister hotel, Bay Gardens Beach Resort and Spa whilst on holiday and must mention both Beverley and Nadia who did the most amazing massages. You were simply the best ladies! All in all, no complaints, a wonderful holiday on the most beautiful island, learned a lot about the culture and husband managed to track down some information on his ancestry. We shall certainly return, hopefully next year. We went on a number of excursions whilst there and would recommend the snorkling and cruise, volcanic mud baths and waterfall, independent tour of St Lucia with trip around the market in Castries, the capital, and whale and dolphin watching, although sadly they did not appear that day but we saw a number of flying fish and brown booby birds (yes, honestly!). A fabulous island, people and a hotel that felt like home. For the first time ever we didn't want to return back to UK from a holiday that we had both enjoyed so much. So much so, we even started looking at buying a property there and enjoying our retirement in the sun!

    Fantastic staff and amazing hotel. From the day we arrived it was a great experience. Dinner was amazing especially with what was offered. Extremely tasty and presentation was 5 star restaurant quality. Unbeatable location for getting around Rodney Bay as well as rooms are completely modern. Loved my stay and would recommend.

    The staff at Bay Gardens truly goes above and beyond to look after their guests while keeping the properties looking sharp. It has become our genuine home away from home, and we find ourselves returning time and time again. The beach amenities available to all guests—it makes the experience so seamless and enjoyable.
