Cap Maison Home away from Home

    rating10 May 2026

Our stay at CM was to celebrate 25 years of marriage. Our experience was more than we could have hoped for. We stayed in an ocean view villa that was exceptionally well appointed. Our favorite experiences were the market place shopping and cooking with the amazing chefs at Naked Fisherman. Wine tasting with Harvey the sommelier and all the wonderful dinners and the entertainment was also outstanding. Tracy, our concierge assisted us with all our activities before arrival and we left with her warm smiling filling our hearts. Shout out to Charlie our most amazing driver as well. We will be back! .

Cap Maison is a jewel of a resort in St. Lucia!

    rating07 May 2026

St. Lucia on my mind! I would recommend Cap Maison to families or couples who are looking for a sophisticated stay in a lovely, pristine location. Stunning ocean views and beautiful sunsets await at this boutique resort. With an attentive, friendly staff and a very chill vibe, you won't be able to do anything but relax! The beach was small, but lovely and the two restaurants offered just the right amount of ambiance.

    Chilling

    rating17 Apr 2026

I gave this resort five stars because I knew what I was getting into. If you're looking for a party resort with a lot of nightime entertainment, this isn't for you. That said, If you need to chill, enjoy a romantic week with your wife and re energize that this is a perfect resort for you. I can't say enough about the staff. I have been to every major island in the Caribbean and this staff was the most friendly and helpful of any by far. The rooms are more like homes than rooms and the food for the most part is really good. ( minor issues like every resort) The views from the restaurant make up for any minor error. My wife and I found ourselves staring out into the sea for hours. One word of caution, if you can't climb 92 stairs then you can't eat at the Naked Fisherman. It's funny to see a rest area on a flight of stairs but after a few drinks, I admit I stopped and rested. Some kids were there but this is more about romance than a kid club resort. I kind of with this was adult only but I'm not sure on the math of doing that. Another suggestion if to take the helicopter up and the ferry back to the airport especially if you get car sick. It has a full bar and music so it's like a little private party boat.Great time and great job

Great Hotel with a great beach and great food

    rating15 Apr 2026

This is a great hotel. The rooms are very nice, the beach great, and the food is great. The cliff restaurant is good, but not any better than the more casual restaurant on the beach, which has more food options too. The service was great, and all of hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We wanted more hiking nearby which was slightly disappointing but we had a good time a pigeon island which was very close. The hotel brochure of recommended activities was good, but the shared cruise was not good, it is better to stick with the private tours. It also would have been nice if there were a few more options (like French Toast) on the breakfast menu. We were thinking about staying at Viceroy Sugar beach - we went by that resort/ beach during our time in St. Lucia and were very happy with our choice to stay at Cap Maison. The viceroy beach is very crowded with boats of non-hotel residents that come in. The Cap Maison beach is much less crowded and really only limited to hotel residents, it feels a lot more relaxing and secluded in a great way.

    Beware of the Mosquitoes

    rating07 Apr 2026

Based on the Tripadvisor reviews, I booked Cap Maison. I wanted a resort to unwind and de-stress from my everyday life. This resort met most of my criteria. Let me start off by saying they do so many things right here. The service is great, the food is very good, the views of the water are fantastic. The beach is small but adequate. Based on those things, I would have rated a 5. However, the room I was in was somewhat outdated (Room 23). I could have overlooked this, however the mosquitoes in the room ruined the experience for me. The first night was fine but by the 2nd - 4th night I was waking up with bites on my face, neck, legs and arms. I complained to the front desk and housekeeping. They promised to spray the room. My last night in the room I was able to sleep without something buzzing in my ear and without fear I would get eaten alive. By then, I was already so unhappy that both my son and I each had at a minimum of 20+ bites. Room 23 had so many points of entry for mosquitoes and other bugs to enter. The patio door had a huge opening at the top, the wooden windows had large gaps. I absolutely would not return or recommend based on the mosquito issue. It did rain briefly the several days I was there but I regretted not reading the other negative reviews that cite a mosquito problem. Ross Stevenson, General Manager at Cap Maison Resort & Spa, responded to this review Thank you very much for taking the time to post your review following your recent stay with us I am very sorry that your stay with affected negatively by pesky mosquitos and I fully understand their nuisance. We do undertake twice weekly misting to help to deter them and I will look in particular at the area around the room you occupied to "step up" the preventative program I was heartened that you would have provided us with a 5 rating and rest assured we will do everything within our power to control these pests With kind regardsRoss
