Location

Set amid a forest of coconut palms, this hotel is located beside exotic Savannes Bay on the untouched south coast of the beautiful island of St Lucia. Within grounds of about 85 acres, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, guests will enjoy an authentic experience of the island with all its honest charm, its hospitality and its adventurousness. The hotel lies in close proximity to many of the island's attractions and adventure activities. The island capital of Castries can be reached in just over an hour by car or alternatively by plane via the regional George Charles Airport. Hewanorra International airport on the south coast of the island is only a short drive away.

Facility

The resort has 254 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services include a childcare service, medical assistance, room service (for a fee), a laundry service and a hairdresser. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area.

Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can enjoy a refreshing dip in one of the 3 pools of the outdoor area. There is a children's pool as well. Thrills on the waterslide, refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a soothing soak in the hot tub – the pool area has a little something for every state of mind and body. Sun loungers and parasols on the terrace invite guests to relax and unwind. The resort offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, beach volleyball, volleyball and basketball. A wide range of sports are available, including water sports such as canoeing, snorkelling, diving, water aerobics and aquafit or, for a fee, windsurfing. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts and yoga. There is a wellness area with a spa, a steam bath and hydrotherapy treatments and, for an additional fee, a sauna and massage treatments. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

Meals

Dining facilities include a breakfast room and a bar. Guests can enjoy their meals in the cosy atmosphere of the 5 restaurants, which are equipped with high chairs. Catering options include bed and breakfast, full board and all-inclusive. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests serve themseves at the buffet or choose their preferred fare from the menu (for dinner). For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    I would have given all 5s but the wifi in our room barely worked, they did try to fix it but they are in middle of changing their wifi system and we were at end of hotel, it worked every where else but our hotel room.

    We had a wonderful relaxing time at Coconut Bay, from the 10 minute drive to and from the hotel to the airport to our stay. The staff is great. Our housekeeping staff left a birthday cake a bottle of champagne for our daughter and beautiful daily notes. The food overall was very good. Breakfast buffet you couldn't ask for more, they had everything covered. The restaurants were very good, delicious meals and great service. The concierge desk helped us with expeditions and drivers. the pools and beach were beautiful and they worked so hard to clean up the seaweed (sargasum) all during the day. Loved the hot tubs. The bars all over the property were fabulous, bartenders were so friendly and attentive. The entire property was so clean always. We would certainly return to this beautiful resort.     Bang for your buck fantastic resort

    This is a wonderful all-inclusive resort. I admit that we were initially a little disappointed when we first arrived as the first impression did not "wow". However, we ended up loving this resort and would definitely come back! The rooms have been recently remodeled and were very comfortable. The staff is super friendly and the different pool/beach areas gave us so much variety. And the food was fantastic! Way exceeded our expectations, especially for an all-inclusive resort. Their individual restaurants were amazing and even everything that we tried from the buffet was delicious. But the best....the jerk chicken from the Jerk Tree House! We literally ate it every day for lunch. Sharnil and Harley were so much fun to talk to, engaged with us and even made sure to remember our son's name and greeted us personally when we went. Overall, loved this resort! Bang for your buck for St. Lucia makes this a definite winner!!     We just got back from a wonderful vacation at Coconut Bay! The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Shout out to Kamal and Thomas who are great bartenders and Kermani our tour guide for the Thursday morning hike - he was awesome! We have been to many AI resorts and we all raved about the food and drinks. Rooms are updated and very clean - our housekeeper would leave thoughtful notes everyday. Lots to do if you want to. The highlight of the trip was the petting zoo -they have rescue puppies, goats, donkeys, etc. We even got to be flight parents to one of the puppies who was heading back to a foster home in the states thanks to the Bruno Project St. Lucia! Highly recommend this resort - will be back!
