  Good stay. Love the location and the little hpo on hop off ferry across the sea. But please microwaves are not a luxury it's a necessity in rooms because many of times you're forced to eat cold food if you took take out or you're left to walk away when you dine leaving the rest behind since no microwave to reheat if taken to room. The breakfast was good but needs variety same thing every day🙄. The bath room has water lodging inside, who puts drain hole on the wall and makes the floor so low??? But will be back all because I just love the location.   Very unkept resort

  Those pictures that are being advertised on this resort site are so fake. The place looks nothing like what you are seeing in these pictures as certain parts are rundown. Customers be aware. Not a good experience. One of the issue is that you cannot sit down and have a meal as there is so much flies in the restaurant we eat out everyday. There are lots more I can say that is wrong and my experience but I am not going to type all that down just be aware and I am from the Caribbean but lives in the US.   We stayed at Marigot Bay reort for 1 week, and did not opt for meal options. Resort's location is fanstastic: secluded, scenic, and right on a beach. The resport is located on a hill, so be aware there are lots of steps.Pros: rooms are spacious; staff attentive and accommodating; there is a nearby booth that has a deal for unlimited water sports (kayak, catamaran, SUP); ferry to the other side is free and runs regularly. Cons: the resort is worn down and needs an upgrade; complimentary breakfast has repetitive and limited selection; nearby beach is not the most picturesque; however, there are couple of pretty places within reach if you rent a kayak.Overall, even though the resort is old with dated rooms and some of the bars / restaurants not functioning anymore, we would come back as we enjoyed local hospitality and the surroundings.   Wonderful Holiday

  Stayed here with my husband for 10nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms are nice and spacious and the views from the balconies are incredible. The rooms are cleaned every other day or extra if you ask. The pool area is small and cleaned daily but hardly no people sit there because the hotel also offers sunloungers on the beach directly outside the hotel gate. The beach is public and there are a few shack type bars on there for drinks run by the locals, if you enjoy mixing with the culture. There are also other sunloungers within the hotel itself on a lovely sandy ledge further round the bay with steps down into the sea for a cool off. Breakfast is a good buffet of continental if inc in your stay, with a choice of fresh hot eggs you order when seated. Or you can pay for extra choices like pancakes from the menu.The restaurant is Doolittles and the food is great. You can take lunch and dinner in there aswell from the menu if not inc in your stay and other holiday makers will come over on the boat especially to eat there.There were entertainments on 3 of the nights. Bingo, crab racing and a live singer. The hotel staff in resort are very helpful, especially in reception. We had an onsite massage treatment and my husband played golf at the Sandals resort which reception assisted to organise. The whole place has an extremely relaxed vibe. If you are used to staying in large chain hotels with constant customer service, you will find this quite different. If you want something, you have to ask. You might get it and you might not and if you do, it wont be straight away 😆 We thoroughly enjoyed being left alone and not mithered. The only negatives we found worth mentioning for feedback is the breakfast staff in Doolittles are quite miserable & slow service compared to the evening staff. There are also some areas of the hotel that need some tlc. You can see that the hotel has once been something very beautiful with parts of it being unused. Hopefully the owner will continue to invest into the property so that the online reviews can improve, but overall we really enjoyed our vacation.   Spectacular location.

  What a location, spread over the sloping bank of the Marigot inlet providing wonderful elevated views over the water. The complex is however getting very tired and in need of a measure of TLC and attention to some key safety issues. The on site restaurant was comfortable and located at the waters edge and served excellent food from an extensive menu. The adjacent small dedicated beach was a little scruffy and needs a face lift. Despite these issues we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint and charming resort.
