This beach resort is located on the north-western coast of St. Lucia on Cap Estate, just across from the St. Lucia Golf Resort and Country Club.

Facility

The complex has a lift and features 357 rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car (no extra charge). Other services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel doctor. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area.

Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. For guests' convenience, units include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. Other features include a telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge). Slippers are included. The bathrooms have a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and bathrobes are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

No matter the weather, guests can take an energising swim in one of the 7 indoor and outdoor pools. There is also a special swimming area just for kids. A hot tub invites guests to soothe their muscles, and a poolside snack bar will take care of any hungry bellies. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. The wide range of activities offered at the complex ensures that there is something new to do every day, including tennis, beach volleyball, volleyball, golf and archery. With water skiing, windsurfing, paddle boating, banana boat rides, canoeing, sailing, catamaraning, kayaking, snorkelling, water aerobics and aquafit available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts, squash and yoga. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon and anti-ageing treatments. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a kids' disco, a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a café, a bar and a pub. A non-smoking restaurant with air conditioning, high chairs and a separate area for smokers is available to guests. All-inclusive can be booked. All-inclusive holidaymakers enjoy special extras like snacks, in addition to a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A generous breakfast buffet gives guests many delicious reasons to get out of bed in the morning. At lunch and dinner, there are plenty of tempting options at the buffet or à la carte. Dinner is also served as a set menu. Diet meals, gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction.

    A Beautiful Setting Cannot Make Up for Unacceptable Service

    ⭐☆☆☆☆I rarely write negative reviews, but after more than 15 years of staying at all-inclusive resorts, this was by far the worst overall resort experience we have ever had.The most frustrating part is that this property is absolutely beautiful. The beach, pools, landscaping, and views are stunning. Our housekeeping attendant was wonderful, and Armadillo was the only restaurant where we consistently experienced great staff and enjoyable food.Unfortunately, the service everywhere else was incredibly disappointing. We paid extra for Diamond Club and the butler experience, yet simple requests were repeatedly forgotten or not completed. Every single morning our breakfast room service order was incorrect, and even a request made the day before to change our breakfast time for an early excursion was ignored.The butler service lacked hospitality. At one point, we passed our assigned butler in the hallway, and he intentionally looked away and walked by without even saying hello. Many interactions with butlers, the front desk, and other staff made us feel like we were inconveniencing them by simply asking for assistance.Another major concern was the misleading Diamond Club benefits. Both the website and app listed Dorado as a Diamond Club restaurant, yet we were repeatedly told it was only available to Hideaway guests and had to argue just to receive the reservation that was advertised as included.The food overall was mediocre, service was extremely slow, and the steakhouse was especially disappointing.What makes this review so unfortunate is that the resort itself has so much potential. A beautiful location cannot overcome poor customer service, lack of follow-through, and a failure to deliver the premium experience that guests are promised and pay for.We will never return, will never recommend this resort or the Royalton brand, and would honestly encourage friends and family to choose another resort.     My room had loose tiles, the curtains were falling and I could not turn off the air conditioner. The elevator was broken most of my stay. Despite those issues, I totally enjoyed my stay.     We stayed for 8 days in June at a hideaway swim out suite with butler service. We arrived at 7 pm local time, but our room was somehow not yet ready.Our room was generally nice with a few exceptions. Our mini fridge’s door seal was worn so whenever staff refilled the fridge, the door wasn’t fully closed consistently and the mini fridge would ice up and water would be all over the floor. On arrival, our room safe smelled of weed so badly we did not think it wise to keep our passports within it. Our swim-out patio door lock was broken such that both lower screws that hold the locking mechanism in place were stripped (more on this later). *Dress Code: The resort’s dress code of reasonable shoes and long pants for males at restaurants is not enforced so don’t bother bringing the required clothes. Flip flops and stained wife beaters are Royalton chic here.*Room service: Room service generally takes 1-2 hours from ordering to delivery, and no order we placed was ever 100% correct. We even waited 2+ hours for breakfast one morning and only received our food after our butlers intervened.*Spa: We had 3 spa visits/treatments. The spa staff was always exceptional and courteous. The spa was the highlight of our stay, and we enjoyed it very much. *Butlers: Our butlers (K & S) were simply amazing. *Atmosphere: There should be no expectations of quiet time during sleeping hours at this property. With 2 days and nights of our stay to go, a large group of loud, obnoxious guests descended on the hideaway building 1. The drunken revelry/noise from midnight to 3 am was intolerable their first night. Their group occupied the entirety of building 1’s swim out pools - including our personal room’s patio and swim out pool - with their speakers playing loud, explicit music. Due to the broken lock on our patio door, my wife and I felt unsafe with this rowdy group. A call to hotel security around midnight removed them from the swim out pools only for them to set up residence just outside the building where the noise continued until 3 am. Their second night on property was our last night here. Once again, It was intolerably loud. Wearing earplugs to bed did little to dampen their sound. *Property: This appears to be an older property that is dilapidated and needs attention. A thorough deep cleaning would go a long way. The sitting bench in front of our bed was filled with grime and hair. We realized this after sitting to dress ourselves and seeing stains on our clothes that matched the bench’s upholstery pattern. There were also facial tissues from previous guests found at and under our bed. Avoid building 1 rooms 1006 and 1007 at all costs. A high traffic/high noise main walkway meets here and these rooms face the building 1 elevator nearby. Best of luck trying for an afternoon nap, and when the midnight drunks stumble to their rooms, you’ll hear every single word of it. *Conclusion: We are glad to leave this resort and will not return. Compared to other Royalton properties and for $10k, we expected much more. If you want a Carniv** cruise ship atmosphere, this is your place. If you value a reasonably quiet, relaxing holiday, I recommend you look elsewhere.     Our stay at Royalton Saint Lucia was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The resort itself is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, and the service truly made our vacation unforgettable.The buffet restaurant was outstanding, offering a great variety of fresh and delicious food every day. There was always something new to try, and the quality exceeded our expectations.Our room was amazing, but we decided to upgrade because we wanted our own pool. It was one of the best decisions we made!     Beautiful but not great service

    The hotel, view, & beach are gorgeous. We went at the beginning of June 2026 so the resort was half empty which meant that there were always chairs available at the beach and short waits for drinks at all of the bars.The staff were hit and miss. Some were lovely to deal with, while others would promise to follow up with us about requests or have items delivered to the room and then we would have to ask multiple times before anyone did something. Consistently basic supplies were missing from our room - depending on the day, we would be without soap, facecloths, hand towels, floor mat, etc. The sheets and blankets had stains. But the room layout was nice & the air conditioning worked well.The first few nights it was a party resort with really loud music. However by the following week, it was more peaceful and not so rowdy. The app is required to book dinner reservations but wouldn’t work on either of our phones. Multiple staff members tried to fix it or log in on their phones under our details & it wouldn’t work for them either. So we had to beg staff to make reservations for us, prove repeatedly that our app wasn’t working, and follow up when they promised to make reservations and let us know but then never did. When we did get reservations, about half the time when we arrived they weren’t ready for us and we had to wait between 30 to 60 minutes to be seated. For Zen, our reservation was for 8:15pm but our chef didn't start cooking until 9:30pm.The beach staff told us we could not borrow any items at 2:45pm because they closed at 3pm and the pool bars closed at 5pm, which meant you needed to leave the areas while it was still lovely and sunny out.Overall, if you are looking for a rowdy time & aren’t too concerned with service or timing, this is a beautiful place to visit.
