    Hidden gem

    What a wonderful surprise. The outside is a little intimidating, but the interior is great. The courtyard facing the pool is nice and serene. Breakfast outside on the terrace was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom and room are small, but overall, a nice stay with great value. Walking distance to the university and the tram stop into town is very close by.

    From the outside this hotel looks like nothing to write home about. But inside it is better than expected. It is a 1970,s style hotel built in a u-shape with a pool in the middle. The poolarea is nicely laid out. Inside the hotel has recently been updated. It has a nice diningarea and updated furniture. The rooms are better than expected and has also been updated but are small-ish. The beds were very comfortable. Newly updated bathrooms. Both breakfast and eveningdinner is included in the price and both were of good quality. The hotel is not in the city but more in a suburb. What the hotel lacks is the international feeling that more upscale hotels have. And I personaly like this international feeling that this hotel dont have. And I am not very fond of the 1970.s style that this hotel have. However this hotel is stil a good choice due to the included breakfast and dinner and the nice rooms. even if they are small.     Staff and hotel was lovely, but the only thing what was missing the swimming pool was not in use, they were renovating it. We had a lovely time there food was good. The weather was good and the tram stop was 10 minutes walk from the hotel it was 20 minutes to the center.

    Child friendly hotel with poolside concerts...

    This is a family friendly hotel a little outside of Gøteborg. We came here for that reason. The good things about the hotel is the serving of breakfast and evening supper as a part of the price. Two meals in the price. It is also nice to have a pool to swim in after going to the sites and attractions across the city. That's the positive about it. The breakfast itself is very standard. The evening meal is one dish or a few assorted meats from the barbecue, which is decent. The downside as a family is the loud noises and concert around the pool. We stayed for four nights and two of them was loud until 2300. When you are trying to calm and keep a little one sleeping it's not ideal. Surely the hotel sells more booze at the poolside, but us in the bedrooms are annoyed. Not that the one man band is witty or talented either. Have heard better at Karaoke in Asia.The staff is generally very service minded and helpful when you ask. They try to help and accommodate to best efforts. That is something you appreciate as a customer there. If it wasn't for the concerts at night destroying the evenings. This hotel would have gotten a better score and more stars. Because the rest of the hotel is good for kids and double servings is wonderful for visitors of Gøteborg.

    The amazing pool sealed the deal - more vegetarian needed

    Went to Apple with my 11-year old son because it is one of few with a pool in Göteborg. We booked a room from where we could just walk out to the pool, which is open during the warm months. It was great to bring my own mojito to the lay-down pool sofas and have a drink and then play in the pool with my son. We're vegetarian and when I asked for vegetarian food for the included dinner they could only offer pie with spinache and goats cheese. Great for me with the salad buffee, but not my son who like burgers and pizza. That they could not offer. Nice staff, but I wish you could get some food for kids and vegetarian kids. It would be easy to make this hotel a 5-star one. Ok, could hear a few people talk too loud in the corridor, but that could probably happen anywhere. The normal price is a bit pricey if you don't eat the dinner food, but if you do, and enjoy the pool a lot, the price is good compared to a vacation in Thailand or Mallorca!
