    Totally catastrophic receptionists with no experience of business acumen. Charging more important than customer satisfaction. Poor rooms with low standard. Beds wide as sunbeds in Rhodes. Evening supper burnt most of the taste buds for that night (pepper & salt). But if there’s cons, there always must be pros and in Comfort Stenbroplatsens pros it was the breakfast. Wonderful!Hope there will be a major improvement until my next stay, if I dear come back to this scruffy accommodation!!     Very disappointing experience with Room 702

    I am very disappointed with our stay due to the unacceptable location of Room 702, which is directly next to the rooftop restaurant. When we arrived at the 7th floor, we were stopped by a staff member (possibly a waiter or security), who asked for our reservation — assuming we were going to the restaurant. Once he and the other guests in line realized we were actually staying in Room 702, they started laughing at us. It was incredibly humiliating.No one warned us at check-in that the room shared a wall with the restaurant. The receptionist said nothing and just handed us the key, probably hoping we wouldn’t complain. The noise in the room was unbearable — we couldn’t even hear each other speak.After spending hours feeling frustrated and upset, we finally managed to get a different room. The receptionist, clearly annoyed, gave us a new key card with an unfriendly expression and rushed us away as if trying to make sure other guests wouldn’t hear our complaint.This was not the experience we expected, and I would strongly advise the hotel to be more transparent with guests and avoid assigning such rooms without proper notice. We work with service and I don't like when we can't deliver that in a good way.However, something I dislike even more is when someone is lying in order to write a bad review. As everything our system does is logged, I can see that you checked in at our self check-in station at 14:58 the day of your arrival which might be one of the reasons you were assigned that room and not got the information about it being located next to the rooftop bar. Then you didn't wait a couple of hours in your room feeling frustrated and upset as you were given a new room on the first floor 38 minutes after you checked in.     To much noise!

    So much noise from the rooftop bar, impossible to get a good nights sleep. The worst thing is that they did not give us a heads up that there would be loud music playing all night. Everything else is functional and in good contition. However, the obnoxiously loud music from the rooftop bar ruins it all. I'm sorry to read that our roof topp bar, Taket disturbed your stay. We turn the music down at 23.00 every night when it's open in order for our hotel guests to be able to sleep as that is very important for us as well, that our guests get their sleep.I hope that we can welcome you back in the future despite this and let us now before hand so we can arrange a room that not will be disturbed by any music.     Terrible and disappointing customer service.

    Disappointing and not a humble customer service. My wife and I had just married. When we arrived, we were kindly enough offered a double bed. When we came to our room, however, it wasn’t equipped with a double bed. The receptionists offered us a deduction of the first night, which we of course appreciated. The next day, the soap in the shower and the sink ran out. We informed the reception a couple of times concerning this. When we came back to our room at around 11 at night, after a long day in Liseberg, full of sun lotion, the soap still hadn’t been refilled. We informed the reception when we checked out, and they offered us a gift card as compensation. After some time after returning home, we hadn’t received any gift cards or any information, so I contacted the hotel by e-mail. First they referred to the first night the compensated us for, to which I replied was another matter. Then the CEO, Marcus Nordlund, answered that they’re not going to compensate us any further, as they had already done so. Again, I replied that we hadn’t received the compensation which they themselves had offered us – it wasn’t our initiative. I didn’t get anywhere with Nordlund in our further dialogue, and central customer services at Strawberry just forwarded my complaint back to Comfort Hotel Gøteborg. I don’t understand how a professional hotel or a CEO can have such a low level of humility, communication skills and customer service. Extremely disappointing and frustrating.     No, the set is not a posh hotel, although the daily price is comparable to prices in a category up.Expect modern accommodation in a good location a short walk from the city centre.Not because the surrounding area suffers from a lack of choice in terms of food and drink, it's just another part of the city Gothenburg is probably one of the world's most excavated cities in the world in its quest to get the infrastructure in order. Surrounding neighborhoods are no exception.Once inside, you are met by welcoming staff, which permeates the entire visit.Apparently I booked a compact room and it's not a lie, you get what you pay for even as a loyalty memberDesigned in the spirit of the times, functional and good sleep quality in an air-conditioned room on this nauseating August evening. The view of the courtyard is nothing to brag about. However, it is the staff this morning at breakfast. The range completely to my taste.Then I can think that toiletries were of a very anonymous and simple kind.
