A HOTEL I gladly recommend!

Home Hotel Odin, was an amazing Hotel Experience as a chef myself from Norway I worked at Hotels and have been to many of them. I can absoluttly recommend this Hotel for both new and Future travelers. This amazing Hotel had a big room wich was very large. A sofa cough sitting area and bed area an own kitchen with refrigortor, kitchen sink Microwave, Tea boiler, tea and milk for coffee. Nice bathroom only minus is the SINK hole wich makes the water run away from the sink Hole apart from that everything you need! Hotel included Breakfast and Coffe cake and also Dinner in out price stay. The food was good the staff was VERY welcoming and happy and very helpfull and kind. The Hotel was close to all facilities needed 19 min walk to Liseberg and Parks, or 10 min from trainstasjon. Checkout was at 11 and we could put our luggage free in the lugge room! Very good service. Wifi was amazing and free. Thank you for my stay and I will look forward to my next stay.

Spacious room, but a cold and confused experience

We stayed for one night as Strawberry Platinum members and came away disappointed overall.The room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable, so we slept very well. However, the apartment felt quite clinical and sparsely furnished rather than cosy. The kitchen was completely unequipped unless you paid 300 SEK, which felt at odds with the “home from home” concept. The bathroom was also very stark, with a freezing tiled floor, and there was hair from a previous guest on the shower wall and in the drain.Service at reception was another weak point. Our Platinum status was never acknowledged, and both early check-in and late check-out requests were handled in a cold, transactional way. I completely understand that both are subject to availability, but the tone and lack of recognition made the experience feel impersonal.Breakfast was also underwhelming compared with other Strawberry hotels we have stayed at, with a fairly standard selection and some odd choices.The contrast with Clarion Hotel Post across the street was striking. We stayed there earlier this year and the service and atmosphere were far better for a similar price. Next time, we would stay there instead.

We enjoyed our brief stay at the Home Hotel Odin (Room 619) - large comfortable room with balcony overlooking the railway station. The included meals were very good - a limited selection in the evening but extensive offerings at breakfast. We also liked the afternoon FIKA. Our room was well insulated and when the balcony door was closed there was no noise from the trains.

I have stayed here on two visits to Gothenburg, this hotel is very central. about a 2 minute walk from the train station. 5 minutes from the central bus station. The rooms are spacious and have a kitchen facility, always very clean. The booking includes an evening meal which is very good quality. There is free tea and coffee all evening. The breakfast is also included and is a very good standard. There is a full public gym facility in the same building and you get access to it. Overall I will not stay anywheres else from now on when visiting the lovely city of Gothenburg.

We had the best stay. The hotel is so central for walking everywhere in a really beautiful friendly city. The staff were absolutely amazing, and we love the food and we loved our stylish room. Having a kitchen and a fridge was a bonus too.
