Gorgeous Olde World Hotel

Warm and welcoming staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and is perfectly located right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore everything nearby. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, and the breakfast selection was absolutely sublime — plenty of delicious options to start the day right. On top of all that, it offered fantastic value for money. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! We were only supposed to stay two nights, but then we decided to extend it because we felt right at home. The room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked very well. The hotel's location is central and convenient for getting around. The breakfast is plentiful and high-quality, with fresh products. The Wi-Fi worked excellently. On the terrace, besides enjoying an amazing view of the city, you can also eat an excellent pizza. The hotel's strong point is the staff, who were always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! Frida Franke, Gästservice/reception at Hotel Bellora, responded to this review Thank you for your lovely feedback! Warm welcome back! <3Best regards,The Bellora family

Food is below basic
13 Jul 2025
The food was below basic and the servis was pretty bad. The restaurant is in the heart of the city with nice ambience and as well as a nice roof top bar but they need to have someone in kitchen who can cook and better servis personal. I live in this city and I would like to see som changes as I visit this restaurant or the bar often. Frida Franke, Gästservice/reception at Hotel Bellora, responded to this review Hi Vinoth!Thank you for your feedback, and we're really glad to hear you enjoy the atmosphere and visit us often, that means a lot to us!We serve authentic Italian food made with care and tradition, which might not be for everyone but we always aim to deliver both great flavor and warm, attentive service. We're sorry to hear that it didn’t meet your expectations this time.Your input is valuable, and we’ll definitely take it with us as we continue working to improve.Hope to welcome you back again soon!Best regards, Bellora family

Ok food but bad service.

Cosy restaurant and the food was ok, but the service was just not good enough. We were constantly forgotten, also we saw our dessert standing ready on the desk for 15 minutes before we got it delivered. Noisy and small
18 Jan 2025
Having read and written many reviews I’m always surprised by a high overall rating on a facility that is this ordinary and anonymous. However. To keep it short but not sweet, stay clear. As a restaurant it’s great and why we selected this hotel in the first place. The walls are paper thin, the noise from other guests but the nightclub in particular is ridiculous.Didn’t sleep in the small bed even with earplugs at first and then noise cancelling earphones. You should always be suspicious when it comes to guests leaving extensive reviews rated low and front desk or management doesn’t even respond (same thing on Google for this facility).I love Gothenburg and they have some really great hotels. But this one is not it.
