    The hotel was well situated.The room was large and comfortable.Breakfast was the best we had on the entire trip. A large variety of food of very high quality.The cake and coffee at tea time was a nice touch.The room had a number of English channels on TV.

    We had a superior double room which was excellent with loads of space. All the staff were friendly and very helpful especially when we didn't arrive until after midnight. The breakfasts were really good with lots to choose from, both hot and cold food. This hotel is also well situated near to great transport links and all that Gothenburg has to offer. The bus from the airport stopped just around the corner from this hotel which was so convenient. Nothing but praise for the Hotel Lorensberg.

    Affordable base for Gothenburg stays

    Hotel Lorensberg was an excellent base for my two-night concert trip to Gothenburg. Location was top-notch; Scandinavium is right there, you can walk to just about anywhere within city center, or if you do not feel like walking, there are several public transport stops close by - including an airport bus stop! My room (double room small, second floor) was spacious, clean, the bed was soft, and it was pleasant to have an electric kettle with small offering of tea and coffee - although the hotel does offer free coffee/tea with little cakes in the lobby too. Lorensberg's breakfast was tasty with good variety of options to fill one's belly and start off the day. Finally, I wish to highlight their staff - everyone I met were polite, helpful and friendly, and it was very easy to arrange a late check-out with only a small fee.I would be perfectly happy to stay in Hotel Lorensberg again!

    Wonderful place to stay! The staff were super kind and helpful, the facilities were great (loved the sauna!), the building was charming, the location was convenient.

    This is fine hotel! I have stayed here many times and am always happy to return. I appreciate the simplicity, the welcome of the staff, the quality of the breakfast, the availability of coffee, tea and water throughout the day. Suggestions: in the small rooms, it would be good to have cabinets or drawers for clothing for people who are staying for several days, so tha one can unpack. Also, it would be convenient to have extra electrical outlets for charging phones, computers, etc.
