    Unprofessional Conduct by Conference Team at Quality Hotel Waterfront

    A warning to business travelers. My recent training event was ruined by the shockingly unprofessional conference team. Conference team deliberately made equipment logistics difficult, placing it as far as possible from training room, training room was empty but I could not accesses in advance...Most disturbingly, while I was carrying equipment, an employee went through my personal belongings, including my backpack and laptop, without my permission. she claimed she was moving them to a “safer location”. I find this explanation entirely unacceptable. We were inside a professional hotel environment in one of the safest countries in  the world. She had my phone number, knew exactly where I was, and could clearly see me transporting equipment. There was absolutely no justification for touching my personal belongings without my authorization. This behavior was invasive, disrespectful, and a serious violation of personal and professional boundaries. I cannot recommend it for any professional event. Furthermore, we were specifically instructed by your colleague, who booked the conference, not to open or break the packaging around the pallet, as you would be handling this yourself upon arrival. We regret that we could not transport the pallet closer to your room, as its dimensions unfortunately exceeded the width of our doorwaysWe are particularly alarmed by your account of an employee allegedly going through your personal belongings without permission. While our lobby is a public space and we are responsible for security, this does not justify unauthorized handling of personal items. We understand this incident felt disrespectful. We take your feedback with the utmost seriousness.We are always eager to be helpful and ensure your event runs smoothly. We are truly sorry for any negative feelings you experienced.     We were looking forward to a ni e weekend att this hotel and it turned out to one of the worst. We had a window which could not be closed. It became very cold and we had to use three blankets to survive!

    With friend at the Porterfestival, and stayed for 3 nights at the hotel, very good rooms with great value for the money.
