Stylish and comfortable
21 Sept 2026
Great location, and very comfortable room. I stayed a couple of nights in the middle of the week, so it wasn't overly busy. Really good breakfast, clean room, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. My only complaint is the bright automatic overhead light in the bathroom that can't be turned off manually. As a person who often needs the bathroom at night, this isn't a great solution. But other than that, it was a great experience and I will definitely stay here again.

Best Place our of 6 country trip.

6 countries in 17 days. Hands down best food our of all the places I've visited. Sauce on food was amazing, you can watch chefs prepare food and they take such care when cooking. Staff was amazing too.

Excellent Stay – Real 4-Star Quality
03 Aug 2026
This hotel truly meets the standards of a genuine 4-star hotel. The staff are diverse, welcoming, and highly professional, making every guest feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. The room was excellent—spotlessly clean, spacious, and equipped with a comfortable bed that provided a great night’s sleep. Housekeeping maintained the room to a very high standard throughout my stay. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options. This is what a real 4-star hotel should be. Unlike some 4-star hotels I’ve experienced in Germany, where the rooms felt flimsy, the beds were uncomfortable, and the overall quality didn’t match the rating, this hotel genuinely deserves its 4-star status. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

Clarion Hotel Malmö Live – Modern, Central, and Good Value for a City Trip
01 Aug 2026
The Clarion Hotel Malmö Live is a modern, high-rise hotel that opened in 2015 as part of the Malmö Live complex, which also includes a concert hall (home to the Malmö Symphony Orchestra) and a conference center. Its central location places you within easy walking distance of Malmö’s city center, the historic castle, and even Ribersborg Beach (about 20 minutes away). The hotel’s spacious rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with impressive city views, comfortable beds, a safe, a mini-fridge, and excellent air conditioning. However, the large glass surfaces mean the curtains provide only limited blackout. As a large hotel, expect longer walking distances between rooms and amenities, and occasional elevator wait times during peak hours. The gym is well-equipped with cardio machines and free weights, though it lacks traditional resistance equipment. The breakfast is extensive and high-quality, with a barista and omelet station—though both can have wait times during busy periods. Hot beverages may also experience delays if machines need refilling or cleaning. As a couple on a city trip, we found the hotel to offer good value for money—not cheap, but well worth the price for the quality and location. We can highly recommend it for travelers looking for a comfortable, central base in Malmö.
