Nice simple hotel with good breakfast

    rating21 Nov 2025

Comfortable room, I had two single beds, but I stayed alone. Bathroom was a wet room with glass divide for shower so the floor did get wet and although a squeegee mop was provided it did not fare well on the tiled floor. The shower was very good and nice and hot, Only hand soaps body wash and shampoo supplied. Tea and coffee making available as was an ironing board and Iron. Room safe large enough for a laptop with a power socket inside (Handy to charge things) TV Had basic channels. Staff were friendly and polite, breakfast was a mix of continental, porridge and hot food. Streaky well done bacon, small hot dog style sausages, meatballs (of course) scrambled eggs (really well cooked nice yellow colour and still a bit wet) boiled eggs pancakes. Meats cheeses bread different types of yogurt. Some thing for everyone. I did eat in the restaurant one night. Limited menu Fish n chips, burger and fries, schnitzel, meatballs, and another fish dish ( i do not eat fish) but food was good very tasty. My room overlooked a main road but this was not a problem, no noise. Room was a bit chilly and turning up the heater did not really improve it. Bed was soft and comfortable. I slept really well. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Bokning Best Western, Marketing at Best Western Plus Stockholm Bromma, responded to this review Hi Kevin , Thank you for the great feedback. Pillows on the beds were too small for My liking. Other than that, great place to stay. Right next to the airport. Great commuter traffic connections to city center. Many large shops 300m from the Hotel. KFC right next to the Hotel. Many Other restaurants as well. Everything you could POSSIBLY need, is there.Sauna was great. Breakfast excellent. Quiet Rooms, even thought our window faced the road. I experienced an excellent stay with good relaxing! The drink at night in your bar area was nice. The greetings from staff were friendly! I enjoyed also my room with shower. All the textiles in there gave me the feeling of a big hug.. All we needed was there also - one could say! Nice hotel next to Bromma airport

    rating24 Mar 2025

We arrived here in good spirits having flown a group of millionaires around Norway and Finland. If you think Saga coach tour but with a private jet you’ll get the general idea. Even the Princess Flight Attendant was happy having had the opportunity to have a cuddle with the “real” Santa Claus at the Artic Circle and harass the captain whilst out snow mobiling. We had enjoyed very nice hotels so far but I always find Best Western is a bit of a “roll of the dice”. Mrs C and I turned around and walked straight back out of one I’d booked in the Lake District a few years ago. This particular hotel has a lot going for it but there are a couple of traps to avoid. On the positive side it is a modern hotel, spotlessly clean, lovely staff, very good breakfast (including the coffee) and a useful gym. They also have a number of bikes which you can borrow for free and the Captain and I enjoyed a pedal out to the Royal Palace, a relaxed 30 minutes cycle on mainly flat roads from the hotel. It’s well worth doing: free to go around the grounds which are magnificent but a word of warning: don’t cycle within the perimeter otherwise (very polite) guards with rifles appear. Anyways, we checked in and The Princess and her fellow flight attendant, The Senorita, didn’t take much persuasion to take the first two rooms available. El Captain and I chatted with the reception staff and, to cut a long story short, we got upgrades to the Premium rooms. This offered us much amusement later when we told our colleagues it was because we were important pilots and they were merely cabin crew (a guaranteed “insert lighted match and wait for explosion). Our rooms were good. A typical small hotel room size with twin beds pushed together. I did ask to be switched to the non-road side but this half of the hotel had benefited from sunshine all day and was like a furnace. I thought I’d be testing receptionist Matilda’s patience if I asked for a further swap so spent 10 minutes trying to get the AC working which ended in a phone call for help. The work experience receptionist got the thing going in 2 seconds (you have to repeatedly tap the arrow to get the target temp down). I made a lame joke about being able to fly a plane but not work a thermostat but we both knew I was a complete loser. The fan had feeble output which the Viking receptionist dismissed: “you’re in Sweden”. As I had asked for a spare key card I went to the gym leaving the AC on full power and full cold (half a mph warm breeze). By the time I returned 90 minutes later though, the room had started to cool. There is no in-room fridge but I fashioned one by filling my wash basin with cold water. We met for drinks in one of the hotel’s many lounges (free hot drinks) and it transpired that we had been very lucky to get the upgrades. The Princess and Senorita reported that their rooms were more akin to prison cells with single beds and tiny little windows. Being on the sixth (top floor) they also had a small glass hatch in the roof with with no way of curtaining it meaning an enforcer early start. The Princess did say her room was freezing at which point I offered to swap. She refused. After all the bitching when we’d told them about our “suites” this was clearly out of spite! So in summary, a nice hotel if you get the premium room and maybe opt for the dual carriage way view (sound proofing is ok) to avoid temperature issues.

Nice, friendy and very clean hotel.

    rating01 Mar 2025

This is a very clean and a very comfortable hotel. The room was modern and well working. Spotless. The nearby airport could not be noticed in any way, when I was here. The breakfast is very, very good! But what I especially appreciate is the hospitality and friendliness of the personnel. The nice lady at the reception at the evening of 24th of February, 2025, helped me with two problems (wrong car registration and bettaries) I had caused all by myself. She was very friendly and very corteous. Thank you, who ever you were :-) I will return here, if this is ever in my path!
