    Perilously Close to Perfection — Save for a Few Heroic Towels

    It was an almost exceptional stay — and perhaps for that very reason, a memorable one.The hotel enjoys a privileged location, practically next to a metro station, a detail that grants guests a delightful sense of freedom as they come and go through the many charms of Stockholm, making travel across the city simple, swift, and effortless.The service deserves particular praise: courteous, efficient, and genuinely solution-oriented — a quality increasingly rare in times when many establishments seem content merely to follow procedures.The rooms are of an ideal size, featuring extraordinarily comfortable beds and impeccably clean, soft linens that provide truly restorative sleep. Added to this is exemplary sound insulation, with virtually no intrusive noise, an indispensable ingredient for relaxation and proper rest.The bathrooms are equally inviting, equipped with Rituals amenities and a shower whose invigorating flow restores both body and spirit after a day spent exploring the Swedish capital.The only detail that prevented the award of a perfect score with honours was the bath towels. Although perfectly clean, they appeared rather too veteran: worn, somewhat frayed, and a few even displaying discreet holes — rather like decorations earned after a long and honourable career in the service of hospitality. Nothing severe enough to compromise the overall experience, but enough to diminish a small portion of its enchantment.Breakfast, meanwhile, concludes the experience in splendid fashion: an impressive variety of offerings, excellent quality throughout, and a presentation worthy of a royal banquet, embodying the very essence of generous hospitality.In summary, I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. With the well-deserved retirement of a few particularly devoted towels, the experience would come perilously close to perfection.

    Great position for everything from a tourist perspective. The hotel staff were excellent, with great breakfasts. Also, a great vibrant bar for drinks and snacks. Rooms were comfortable, just needed a little more cleaning in some areas.     We loved everything! The hotel has a great location right in the city center. The room was clean and cozy, with a wide bed and comfortable pillows. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival by the complimentary bottle of red wine in the room. The staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfasts were varied and delicious.     Amazing service but the room was a little dirty in the walls but the breakfast was amazing. Would return but in a different room.     Not the best of Clarion hotels, but a good one-night sleep during business travel

    Location for the hotel is good: close to the center, but still a bit further away for peace. You can notice that the hotel is not entirely new. Some places are a bit worn and torn, but overall impression is still clean and well-maintained.My room was spacious and functioning, even with a sofa - seemed to be a handicapped room. The bathroom was large, but I found the shower to be very small and I could barely fit inside the shower curtain. I found it quite odd that a vacuum robot was going around the corridors quite late to the night and this kept a loud noise right behind doors. I found the bed comfortable, but pillows not so much - one very small and soft, and one very big and hard. No middle model available.Breakfast was decent and planned well, there was barely no queues and atmosphere calm. Selection was decent, but not the largest I have seen in a Clarion hotel. Service everywhere was nice and welcoming.Overall a decent experience that did its job well for one night.
