    Great experience. Big room with a wonderful view of the water and the sunsets. Great breakfast. Amazing location, next to the ferry with which you can get anywhere in the city. We would stay at this hotel again.

    The hotel itself is great. Good location, great breakfast and a very good restaurant also.It's located outside the city centre but the ferry stops right in front of the hotel every ten minutes. The price is about €7 per person one way so if you go to town and back as a couple it will cost you €28.The first stop of the ferry is right in front of the museums (Abba, Viking museum, Wasa museum) and the second is at the town centre.We had (and still have) a big problem with the parking at the hotel.We parked in the parking behind the hotel. When we arrived the doors opened automatically without getting a ticket or any other proof of parking. We went up to the 11th floor, which is reserved for the hotel guests.Again no ticket. So we went to check in at the reception desk. When we asked how to pay for parking they told us to use the Aimo app. So I downloaded and activated the app on the spot at the desk. The lady behind the desk even helped me to activate the app.Long story short, after 3 days we had 3 parking fines on our windscreen. The app was activated all 3 days in a row, even when we left for 9 hours.When I complained at the reception desk they told me it wasn't their parking and just gave me an email adress of the parking owner. Good luck with your problem!Because they had the email adress ready I suppose I wasn't the first and only guest with this problem.Of course I sent an email to the owner (svea.com). The day after we left I got a confirmation email from Svea that I had payed for parking 3 days using the app. I sent that email also to the emailadress of Svea (their own email) to prove I had payed. We are now 4 days further and I am still waiting to hear if the parking fines will be withdrawn. If not, I will be forced to pay because I live in Holland and can not go to court in Sweden for something like this. So then it will become a very expensive stay in this hotel.I don't understand why the hotel hasn't solved this problem already with the parking owner if their guests experience this problem?I costs me a lot of time and it leaves a bitter taste to my stay at the hotel, which is a shame because the hotel was fine.

    Stayed just after midsummer . The reception staff were friendly and very helpful.The bed was comfortable and the room was well appointed. Couldn't fault the breakfast , with so many choices , and the chance to make your own waffles if you had the time.A perfect location if you want to get around Stockholm by commuter ferry. The no.80 stop is so close , and takes you over to Djurgarden ( Vasa and Abba museums, Spirit museum and the Viking Museum etc) only a few minutes away, with an an easy change of ferry at Djurgarden ( no.82) to Gamla Stan.
