    Rooms are rather dark, but luckily they let me sit in breakfast restaurant to do some work.

    Situated in a quiet street in Stockholm close to underground station. Bedrooms are a good size and very clean. Bathroom lovely with heated floor. Bar welcoming. Breakfast provides an excellent start to day.

    Located in the centre of Stockholm, not too far from the main road with good bus and metro connections, the Hellsten really lived up to our expectations. From the smiley chap on reception as soon as we walked through the door. The room was stayed in was decent, could have done with a little bit of TLC and there was also very few places to put our clothes, with the Scandinavians being geniuses when it comes to storage we were a tad disappointed! Aside from that, we had a good view over the courtyard and the shower and bathroom in the room was fantastic. Outside of the room, the downstairs area was a lovely place to sit in, with complementary tea and coffee. We only had time for a quick trip into the bar which was a shame as the jazz nights looked good fun. The staff in the hotel were incredibly helpful and could not do enough for us which was lovely. Breakfast times in the morning were generous, from 6am to 10am I believe. A good selection of food was available for people with specific dietary requirements. My partner is lactose intolerant but enjoyed things like the vegan cheese and availability of lacto-free milk for coffee and cereal. I myself enjoyed the fresh fruit and croissants in the morning.
