    Great hotel if you can sleep in a disco with really bad music.Totally aghast how a hotel can operate in this way and charge money for rooms. Should have known: took us almost 10 mins to get into the room as service personnel was using the lift for their various purposes. Guests can wait (and will be awake into the early hours).

    Upon arrival, the hotel immediately presents itself as an establishment with a rich history. The architecture and décor are clearly intended to evoke a sense of old-world elegance. While the effort is admirable, there is a lingering feeling that the grandeur falls just short of its mark. The furnishings and common areas do possess a certain charm, yet the overall atmosphere feels a bit tired and in need of refreshment.My room, though clean and spacious, lacked adequate soundproofing. I had a room facing street so I could hear everything from the street. During the night I was awakened by a sparking noise of the heating system which was quite scary. I needed to switch off the heating system, and I spent the rest of the night in a rather chilly environment. Hotel certainly makes up for its breakfast offering. The morning spread was truly impressive, featuring a wide variety of options to suit every palate. Another redeeming feature of the hotel is its prime location. Whether you’re in town for business or leisure, you’ll find that getting around is both easy and efficient.

    We spent one night in this cosy hotel, which is conveniently located in the heart of Stockholm. They have beautiful bars, friendly staff and nice atmosphere with a vibe of“Old Stockholm”. Our small room had a dark window toward the courtyard, which probably saved us from the nightlife noise on a Saturday night. However, a few points need to be addressed:-The hotel carpets, old drapery and strong scented sticks caused a severe asthma attack. This is clearly not a place for asthmatic people, and that should be known to allergic travelers!-The room was dusty with a dirty carpet (we dropped an earring and had the chance to inspect the floor, hence this revelation)-The hotel is also not suitable for people with physical disabilities; quite a lot of small stairs to get through before reaching the rooms, and even the reception. Overall, we had a good stay, and the breakfast was okay - albeit far from spectacular.This is a cosy place in a nice location, but we probably won’t be coming back, as we barely made it out alive.

    Spent a wonderful couple of nights at the Hotel KUNG CARL. One of the more unique hotels I've visited. Great location in center of Stockholm. Hotel is built around a central courtyard with elegant restaurants throughout the lobby. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had. Highly recommend

    A special place. Central location. A 15 to 20 fun walk to everywhere you might want to go. Charming rooms in a very old and updated grand hotel. Good internet. Excellent breakfast and 24 hour coffee as needed. I loved Stockholm in the summer and would stay here again.
