    Perfect for purpose

    rating16 Dec 2025

Late reviewing, doing a whole batch at once. Booked for a concert at nearby venue. I had originally booked elsewhere but changed to be walking distance to venue.Check in guy was great, friendly, helpful, hotel is rooms above an eating place, I never ate but menu looked good and place looked clean and busy.Room ideal for what I needed, safe, quiet, easy to find, plus sparking up chat about my hero and reason for staying, Sophie Ellis Bextor, is always a winner. I checked out round 5am, ( to head to Norway for the next gig)If Sophie plays same venue in future, this is where I will stay, and possibly eat

    Worst Hotel Experience Ever

    rating21 Sept 2025

Unfortunately, my stay at the hotel was far from restful. Upon check-in, I was firstassigned to a room where the ventilation system was so loud that sleeping wasabsolutely impossible. After complaining, I was moved to another room. While theventilation there was less noisy, the walls were extremely thin, and I could hear everyword from the neighboring room. When I raised this issue with the manager, I wastold that “all the walls are thin and this is normal.”During the same night and morning, the fire alarm in my room went off four timeswithout any apparent reason, which was extremely disturbing and made proper restimpossible.Furthermore, the hygiene standards of the rooms were unacceptable. In bothbathrooms I used, there were clear signs of mold on the walls and floor, and theoverall cleanliness was very poor – dusty surfaces, visible dirt, and an overallimpression of neglect and age.The staff, including the manager, were unfriendly and unaccommodating. Even thebar staff did not show basic courtesy. When I asked for a refund due to theseunacceptable conditions, my request was refused.Adding to my disappointment, I have tried several times to contact the hotel aftermy stay, but I have not received any reply to this day. This complete lack ofcommunication further reflects the unprofessionalism of the establishment.Considering the price of €120 per night, this standard is completely unreasonable. For a budget hotel at €50 per night, such conditions might be tolerable, but at thisrate I expect a certain quality and professionalism, which were not met in any way.In all my years of traveling to different countries and staying in many hotels, I havenever been so disappointed. It is very frustrating to only discover these conditionsafter payment has been made, which feels misleading.I kindly request a fair and accommodating response from the hotel regarding thismatter.

    Never again.

Terrible breakfast. Cold sausages, the bacon was just innustry. The staff were arrogant and not serviceoriented at all. The food (gluten) was just a huge disapointment. The room was not clean, dust under the bed. The only good thing, was the madras. There was no remote control to the TV, when we asked for it, we were questioned by the staff. A place i cant recommend to anyone.

    False advertising

    rating14 Feb 2025

Our stay at this hotel was highly disappointing!! The room was much smaller than expected & we could barely open our luggage - it was honestly smaller than a prison cell, nothing like the pictures we saw. It was four walls & a bed, literally!Although the receptionist helped us get a larger room, we had to pay extra for it. Unfortunately, the family room was still in poor condition - dirty floors & walls, an unpleasant smell & a bathroom that was too unclean to use comfortably. It was really dirty! The noise level made it even difficult to sleep & not to talk about the breakfast.. it was unappetizing! And for reference, I am NOT a picky eater. The only positive aspect of this experience was the friendly staff!

    Really nice

    rating10 Oct 2024

Really nice hotel in an area not far from city centre, 5 min walk from Skanstull station, and in an area with loads of restaurants and cafes nearby. Only problem was WiFi is a bit slow and I didn’t get my room cleaned on 2/3 nights I was here but it’s a nice hotel in a lovely area
