Location

This hotel is centrally located at the heart of Stockholm right beside the sea. The old town with its many sights is just a short distance away as well as the World Trade Centre and Kungsträdgarden underground station, which may be reached on foot in 5 minutes. The royal palace is 5 km away and Arlanda airport some 40 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 459 rooms, which are located on 9 storeys and are reachable by 5 lifts. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested.     Great stay at the Radisson Blu Royal Viking! The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, though the bathroom is on the smaller side, not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing if you’re packing heavy. The location is absolutely unbeatable: right in the heart of Stockholm, walking distance from everything. And the breakfast? Seriously impressive spread, plenty of variety to keep everyone happy.     Nice hotel and staff - little disappointng

    Hotel was nice and comfortable- to be expected by a large chain like this. Great location for what we needed (right next to the main train station and Arlanda Express.)Hotel staff were friendly, breakfast was good (Buffet style which the kids always love). But we booked this particular hotel due to the facilities - namely the pool. However upon check-in we were told the pool “had a leak” and therefore closed. A bummer and information we should have been alerted to upon booking as we may not have chosen to stay. A leak suggested it was a last minute occurrence but we were told later it was being renovated - so definitely something planned and therefore could have been shared upon booking. No compensation was offered. Plus our room was nice for the few nights we stayed - but it had no natural light. Our window overlooked the busy breakfast hall and checkin desks. Which meant the curtains were closed most of the time - making it quite claustrophobic and disorienting. Esp with a young family. Again- I feel this is a detail to be shared when booking/ upon check in. As not ideal.     A good mid-tier option in central location

    A very well positioned hotel, next to the Central station making it very easy to get to and from the airport and the main attractions. The hotel is lovely and does the job of a good mid-tier option in a convenient location. The pool was closed during our stay so can't comment. Breakfast was great and staff at breakfast were super helpful.     Lovely property at a great location

    Superb location right next to the Central station . The airport Arlansa express is almost like a direct covered acccess. Great breakfast layout and friendly and pleasant staff . The restaurant manager was quick to accommodate some of us who were vegetarians in the group . Gamla stan is a 15 minute walk while a nice walking and shopping district about ten minutes . Nice modern hotel .     Well Located Hotel

    We only stayed the night, ideally situated just outside Central Station and close to food outlets.Room was on 2nd floor and looked over the main street, great for people watching, it was clean and had everything we needed.Staff were helpful, we used conceirge for keeping our bags till check in and the day we left, very handy Complimentary coffee, water in reception handy before you check in
