    The best place to stay in Stockholm

    My sister and I stayed for 4 nights at Radisson Blu Waterfront in April 2026, and cannot be happier for choosing this wonderful hotel!The location cannot be better: right by the Central station with an easy connection to the airport; within walking distance to Gamla Stan, shops and restaurants, including grocery and convenience stores at the station.Check-in was very positive and pleasant as we were warmly welcomed by lovely Scholar. She explained everything with a smile, answered all our questions and even remembered our names when we passed by the next day. Scholar is a great asset for the hotel and she set a positive tone for our stay in Stockholm. I wish every hotel had an employee like Scholar!We stayed in separate rooms, both with scenic views, and absolutely loved watching the light change over the water, and the beautiful nearby buildings. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the A/C was working well both on cool and warm, internet was fast. Housekeeping was great, did a fantastic job cleaning and refreshing our rooms. We paid for breakfast and I am glad we did because we were treated to a wonderful spread of amazing, delicious, fresh and diverse food and drinks that accommodated all kinds of tastes and preferences. The staff at the restaurant was very friendly and helpful, and here I would like to mention Joseph who went above and beyond in making sure that my sister got the exact kind of coffee she wanted. Thank you, Joseph, and all of the hard working restaurant staff. And thank you to the entire amazing staff of this splendid hotel!I am planning on returning to Stockholm in the future and will definitely stay again at Radisson Blu Waterfront hotel.     Had a fantastic experience hosting our Stockholm event at the Radisson.     The hotel is definitely a 4* but some of the staff are 2*, there should be more training done. The bar area, we were waiting to be served then another man came , the barman was still talking to some customers, instead of saying excuse me I have to serve he carries on talking then eventually he goes to the man who came after us. We waited for the last night to have a meal in the restaurant as a treat, gravlax and meatballs should be a must when in Sweden, I got a menu without the meatballs on which I was disappointed about but had beetroot smoked salmon for starters, not gravlax but near to it, when ordering I mentioned to the waitress I was looking forward to the meatballs but she said nothing. I asked for a bottle of still water but they had none, not good in a 4* hotel, we waited over an hour before the starters arrived, in the meantime a couple next to us had meatballs. Then we waited and waited for our main meal , nearly 2 hours altogether before it came, fair enough we had an apology but by that time we had gone off eating and asked if it was being cooked, if it wasn't we wouldn't bother , he said it was about 10 mins , mine was salmon, it doesn't take 10 mins to cook salmon but i had it, my husband's potatoes were cold, then waited again for desert and mine was wrong, I was told I was given the wrong menu, I could have had the meatballs anyway we didn't have to pay for the meal. A big party was having a meal at the same time as us, they were just being greedy, they should have closed the restaurant just for the night due to a private party. I asked for a taxi to the airport for the next morning and the receptionist, a lovely girl said it was a fixed price from the hotel not more than 745 krona, he charged us 1400 by this time we just wanted to get out of the place Info Stozw, Guest Services / Front Office at Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, Stockholm, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback.
