  Cheap, but uncomfortable

  Came here for spring break and was left disappointed, although the price for the stay was decent. During my time, they were renovating the bathrooms, meaning there were workers going in and out the one easily accessible entryway, leaving the door open for frigid air to come down the corridor as well as constant noise. Additionally, they left the security gate propped open to bring supplies in and out, which posed a safety risk. Even when the bathrooms were finished, the amenities stunk and were poorly ventilated

  Very handy for bus and metro as long as you don’t mind a 10 minute walk. I had a cabin on boat 2 with private shower and toilet and it was all very clean and fresh. It would have been a squeeze for 2 people. The washbasin was tiny though, even when I removed the glass shelf above. Yes, the toilet is noisy but you are on a BOAT. The tap water is drinkable and there was plenty of hot water for the shower. Towels were constantly changed though there was no need.I ate in the Thai restaurant on boat 1 and enjoyed it. Breakfast was ordinary, could have had better bread, but there was plenty including boiled eggs and a bowl of fruit. The staff were perfectly friendly and helpful. I was expecting a city view as on my booking but in fact I looked straight into boat 2 so I kept my blind closed. They were working on boat 3 during the day but far worse was the roadwork which went on all one night during my 4 night stay.

  Noisy as hell

  Beds are ok. But this place is extremely noisy. I woke up at 7 with construction and metal work right outside, and the walls and windows are thin like paper. I woke up several times throughout the night as well, caused by noises from machinery,doors etc. so be prepared to wear noise-cancelling earplugs on your stay here.

  A very nice budget stay on a boat - peaceful and pleasant

  My cabin was very comfortable, and although I had never stayed on a boat before, I absolutely loved it. The duvet was very nice, the pilllow was a little flatter than average, but very comfy. Great views from the windows, both in my cabin and the communal kitchen and dining area. Nice to mix with other travellers in the well-equipped kitchen. The showers were good with plenty of space. I usually cooked for myself but I tried the breakfast and it was really excellent - so much choice and as much as you wanted to eat and drink. A short walk from Mariatorget subway station, and not that far to walk into Gamla Stan.

  Good budget accommodation, great location

  If you're on a tight budget and after basic accommodation in a central location then this is perfect. That's what we wanted and it's what we got. The room was quite small and the beds aren't hugely comfortable but it was cheap. Showers are a tight squeeze. Staff were all incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful. It's in a lovely location with some great views of the city from the decks. Would recommend.
