Location

This hotel is located on the edge of Stockholm in Alvik, about 150 m from the Alviks Strand business district. It is roughly 5 km to the city centre. Links to the public transport system can be found about 100 m away, and the hotel is also within easy access of the E4 motorway.

Facility

324 non-smoking rooms are available to guests. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (no extra charge). The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. There are a number of shops as well. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Other services include a laundry service. Rooms

Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A TV and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and a telephone are on hand in the bathrooms for everyday use.     Lack of information from staff - nice quiet area

    Great location off the beaten track. Quiet rooms. Bar and restaurant. Easy to use metro nearby.Staff fairly unhelpful. Still no idea what’s on offer and when you try to ring them via the QR code, they either don’t answer or hang up. No automatic cleaning of room.Continually having to ask for loo roll, towels, coffee.Room is horribly hot and the air con is barely working. Cleaner ( who doesn’t clean), keeps putting it back to 21 degrees…Only 2 channels in English.Shower is a nightmare, keep banging elbow on glass.Good size room.Nice bar area with music, though drinks not to English palette. NEARBY-Bastard Burgers is great. Joe and the Juice for coffee. Good size supermarket over the road. Lovely walks by the water. AVOID Al Caminetto Italian at all costs, flies in the food.     Good but could be great if customer care was a thing!

    In some ways, I really enjoyed this hotel, but in others it felt like customer comfort wasn’t much of a priority.The room itself was very nice — spacious, clean, and comfortable. We couldn’t figure out how to turn the air conditioning off, which was frustrating. The bathroom was large, although the shower pressure wasn’t particularly strong. We didn’t use many of the hotel facilities, as it was more convenient to get breakfast elsewhere, and the sauna didn’t seem especially inviting.The biggest disappointment was the requirement to book room cleaning the evening before. We forgot and requested it first thing in the morning, only to be refused. The hotel says this is to save water, but it feels more like a cost-cutting measure. In my view, a great hotel shouldn’t require guests to ask in advance for basic housekeeping services.     Great location & great value for money

    We have stayed at the hotel during SALK Open and it has been great. Nicely located just a few steps from the tennis club and also just a few steps away from wonderful nature at the water side where we had superb walks with the dog.Hotel is nice, service is friendly, food was ok. The only thing which was special is the fact that you can’t open the windows and the pillows are not the most comfy ones. Parking garage great and easy to access.     This Scandic hotel is situated on the outskirts of Stockholm, which has a positive impact on prices. However, this hotel does not stick out from other Scandic hotels. Same boring breakfast.     We went here to be near customer. Its been nicely updated throughout. Bedroom and bathroom are great walk in wet room shower etc all new and quality fittings, nice and clean. Comfy bed nice lighting and temperature. hardwood floors so easy to clean etc. I used a small Gym perfectly adequate just watch for peak times.. Breakfast was a great selection just strangely group around serving areas.. I did find sourcing normal milk difficult from the vast selection of other milks, lactose free, plant based etc. but otherwise very good choices for breakfast..
