Location

This hotel is located in a historic area in the centre of Stockholm. It is ideal for business travellers as well as families. The nearest airport is Stockholm - Bromma (BMA), located about 10 km away. Stockholm - Arlanda (ARN) Airport is approximately 43 km away.

Facility

273 non-smoking rooms are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by a lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service and a safe are available. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) allows guests to surf the internet and catch up on email. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. There are a number of shops as well. Additional facilities include a newspaper stand.     Excellent location for attractions and public transport. Food is also cheaper around the hotel location than tourist hot spots. Breakfast is good. Rooms are basic but fine for a short stay. Lockers to store luggage if arriving early or leaving late.

    Second time in a row I asked toClean my room, but no one has been coming to clean it in three days. It happened twice, so I definitely will not come here anymore.We had been woken at 03:35 with a fire alarm and needed to go down, but it was a fake alarm 😫 Danijela Salov, General Manager at Scandic No. 53, responded to this review Dear Demis,Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.     Address Where Ease of Transportation and Comfort Meet

    The hotel that makes us wish we had stayed longer even though we stayed for 1 day. Very close to everything from the center. The breakfast was incredibly delicious and varied. There are lockers where you can leave your luggage. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but I think the most important thing was that they had incredibly friendly and helpful employees.     Pretty nice location, 5min walk from Arlanda Express and generally thus central. Not fancy, everything basic, not anything extra like fitness room or sauna. Serves well a business tripper spending minimum time in the room. My room was small, but again works for me. Breakfast generic Scandic-style, but here too, works. Hotels surprisingly expensive, this one on the lower end of the range where you could think yourself spending a night or two. Service neutral, which suits me well.One thing of the breakfast; ”juice”….from machine…same in all Scandics, nothing to do with juice, colored water with a pinch of sugar.     Great hotel, conveniently located for a reasonable price!

    The 53 was a great hotel for a short break - it was a short walk from the bus station (and the train I assume) but once checked in we discovered it was also very conveniently located for the main shopping area and within reasonable walking distance of the Old Town.Our standard room was compact but perfectly fine - clean and well equipped -.USB charging ports a nice extra.Breakfast was amazing - there was so much choice.Would definitely stay here again if we revisit Stockholm as the cost for our 3 night stay was very reasonable considering I'd heard Sweden was expensive.
