    Outstanding service, great food, and nice fitness center. Rooms are a bit warm but water and coffee are free. Good toiletries to indulge in.     A beautiful artistic urban retreat

    Nomad Design & Lifestyle Hotel is perfectly located around the corner from the Kunstmuseum and close to many shops and restaurants and tram stops. I love the atmosphere - stylish, calm, with activity. I requested a quiet room and it was exactly that - I had such a restful greatly needed stay. Everything about the room was perfectly clean, the welcome personalised greetings really set the tone of the whole stay. One of my favourite features of my room was an insta-camera for guests' use! I took some unique and memorable photos in Basel and didn't use my phone. (!!). Switzerland can be a wonderful but costly place to visit - but the Nomad is well priced and excellent value. I will stay there again for my future yearly trips to Basel.     Very convenient location but I would not stay here again. There was no air conditioning in the room, just a Dyson fan. Our room was very hot and uncomfortable.     Great location, beautiful room, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast could have more choice- more fruit and replenish salmon but very nice, very good coffee.
