Disappointing stay with poor room conditions and no real VIP recognition
31 May 2026
As a loyal and frequent Radisson guest, with great experiences in most all of their hotels, I found this stay very disappointing. The hotel did not provide the expected VIP membership benefits did not allow earlier check-in even though they where not busy, and initially placed me in a substandard room that was extremely hot and clearly not in proper working condition. The AC was failing, dirty and very noisy, the TV was broken and the fridge was not working either.Only after maintenance confirmed that the room was not usable and advised that I should be moved, I was transferred to a properly functioning room. This was especially disappointing because the website showed that plenty of rooms were still available.Even after this, the hotel still did not offer an upgrade to the highest available room category, although this is one of the main VIP benefits. Overall, this did not feel like the level of recognition or service recovery I would expect as a loyal high frequent guest.
