Location

Facility

Guests have a choice of 50 single rooms and 103 double rooms located in a 7-storey main building and a 154-storey auxiliary building. The reception desk is open round the clock.     Reliable airport shuttle bus ( but finding airport pick up spot upon arrival at GVA was tricky and hotel desk’s phone directions were difficult to understand). Nice facility. Lovely buffet breakfast. The floor smelled odd ( cleaning product? Cigarettes?) and our room smelled even odder. Reported to building maintenance. Well designed/ well appointed room and bathroom. Plenty of hanging space for clothes. Nearby park for evening strolls.No on site restaurant.

    For the price the hotel is fantastic. Clean, the staff are helpful and welcoming, cleaners come in daily, basic but very decent breakfast, quiet. It is a 2 minute walk from the tram station where you get a 10 minute tram into Geneva centre. I’m very pleased and will be using holiday inn again!

    Had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the overall experience was great. A special mention to Oliver who was at the reception early morning — he went the extra mile to help me figure out the bus to the airport, which I truly appreciated. Genuine hospitality and excellent customer service from him. Great job, Oliver, and thank you for your kindness!

    We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Geneva Airport Hotel. It is less than a 15 minute walk with suitcases along the footpath from Geneva Airport, whilst the hotel shuttle operates every 20 minutes from directly in front of the main entrance/exit in the section furthest away from the door where all hotel shuttles operate from. We found the hotel to be extremely clean with our room compact but with enough room to operate with two suitcases without tripping over ourselves. There was no wardrobe just 3 hooks to hang coats on. The staff were excellent! Debora was a mine of useful information and imparted it with great clarity to make it easy to follow. We enquired about a particular trip and she was able to check availability and complete the reservation with us. We really appreciated this level of thoroughness. Geneva travel card was completed at check-in rather than in advance. Breakfast had a good variety of cereals, juices, fruit, breads and pastries with two coffee machines in operation. Whole and oat milk was available along with hot options - scrambled eggs and sausages. The location of the hotel makes it really easy to get into the centre of Geneva. It is a 5 minute walk up onto the bridge to the Blandonnet Tram stop (stairs and lift available) with a choice of 2 trams running through this section to the centre meaning there is a tram every few minutes.
