This pleasant hotel lies at the heart of Interlaken within 500 m of links to the public transport network.

Facility

95 rooms, including 28 single rooms and 65 double rooms, are located on 18 storeys and can be reached by 3 lifts. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Other services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a hairdresser and a coin-operated laundry. Complimentary newspapers are available. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available. 9 conference rooms are available for lectures, presentations and meetings.

Rooms

Individually adjustable heating ensures that rooms maintain just the right temperature. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. Rooms have a double bed or a queen-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a refrigerator included among the standard features. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. A hairdryer and a telephone are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

    We reached Hotel Interlaken at 10 am and they had our room ready (we had communicated earlier). Excellent location - 5 min walk from Interlaken Ost train station. Wonderful staff. Excellent breakfast and modern rooms. Tea/coffee available throughout the day in the lounge area.     Second time to stay here and enjoyed our stay again. We loved the location as it was about a 7-minute walk to Interlaken Ost. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Some points that need improvement though - the breakfast had no variety so we had the same food every day for 6 mornings- housekeeping could be improved because our room was not very clean everytime we request it to be made up and they didn't replace the glasses that we've used Hotel Interlaken, Innkeeper at Hotel Interlaken, responded to this review Dear marie antoinett... d,Thank you for choosing us again and for sharing your experience.     Great location, short walk from train station. Room was plain, clean, spacious, a bit stark, not luxurious.     Restaurant Dinner Review

    We ate dinner here. They have both inside and outside dining. We dined outside. We did not have a reservation and I think we got lucky. I would highly recommend a reservation.It's been awhile since we dined. They do not continually serve in the afternoon. They close after lunch and reopen at 5. We were able to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine while waiting for dinner.I can't remember what we ate but it was delicious and presented beautifully. We really enjoyed our meal. Our server was very nice and attentive. She spoke English and the menu was in English. It truly was a special night. I will mention we ordered the Eiskaffee which was kind of an ice cream dessert. Great presentation but it wasn't all filled with ice cream towards the bottom which was a disappointment. We wouldn't order that again.Highly recommend. So cleaned we dined.     Too loud, basic but clean and good location to train

    It has charm and the location is very good in that it was a quick walk from train. Price was good. Restaurant was very good. However, how has no one ever mentioned this hotel sits directly in front of a beautiful church that rings its bells every hour for 5 mins and every half hour for 4 rings all day until 11pm! On Saturday at 8pm they rang for 20 straight minutes! It’s very loud - we could not leave windows open for the wonderful fresh air and the rooms were stuffy / too warm no a/c of course. Also there is a huge parking lot on the church side ( backside) rooms of hotel with lots of foot traffic loud people all hours of day and night and parked cars traffic . Also I could hear the clanking of pots pans trash cans and employees from the restaurant as the outside trash area was an open air but walled gathering area and cleaning (?) area for the restaurant cleanup facility. Did not enjoy hearing clanking dishes and employees yapping for hours late at night for clean up. The beds were a bit stiff . If you are American , the hotel reminded us of a nicer great wolf lodge decor wise. Cozy , low ceilings , wood, cabin feel . Not fancy, very simple but clean . Staff was nice. Due to the noise, hot rooms I would not return again.
