An excellent week's stay.
07 Jun 2026
This was the second stay in this hotel for me and my wife, and we were once again so pleased that, if they will have us, we will use it for all future visits to our family in Vaud. The hotel is very well maintained and the staff keep it spotlessly clean. The beds are extremely comfortable and during our stay we experienced minimum noise from joining rooms. The staff are not only efficient but also very friendly. The WiFi was excellent, and the TV had a very good selection of available channels, including quite a few in English. There is a large and well-furnished lounge are suitable for working or relaxation. There is a supermarket within walking distance and several nearby restaurants. An enjoyable stay and good value for the price. Pascal Kuettel, Directeur général at Afterwork Hotel, responded to this review Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are truly delighted to hear that you and your wife had an excellent week’s stay with us for the second time. Your loyalty means the world to us, and we are honored that you plan to choose us for all future visits to the region. We’re thrilled that you found our hotel well-maintained, spotlessly clean, and equipped with extremely comfortable beds and minimal noise from neighboring rooms. Your kind words about our friendly and efficient staff are greatly appreciated. We’re also glad you enjoyed our spacious and well-furnished lounge area, as well as the convenience of having a supermarket and restaurants nearby.Thank you for recognizing the value for money we strive to offer. We’d be honored to welcome you back whenever you visit your family in Vaud.Warm regards,The Hotel Afterwork Team ??

An excellent hotel.
10 Jul 2025
My wife and I are frequent visitors to the area between Lausanne and Geneva and on our recent trip we discovered this excellent hotel. We had a Junior Suite, two rooms (including a kitchenette) plus bathroom/toilet. The suite was spacious, perfectly maintained, and spotlessly clean. The public areas of the hotel are also spacious and laid out to provide plenty of areas for those wishing to relax or work. The food in the restaurant was first class, better and cheaper than some well-known restaurants in the area. The staff throughout the hotel were relaxed, very friendly, and spoke English.Best recommendation I can give is that we intend to stay in this hotel for all future visits to Canton Vaud. Pascal Kuettel, Directeur général at Afterwork Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and positive review of your recent stay at the Afterwork Hotel in Etoy. We are absolutely delighted to hear that you and your wife found our hotel to be excellent and that your Junior Suite met your expectations in terms of space, maintenance, and cleanliness. It's fantastic to know that you enjoyed the public areas of the hotel and found them suitable for relaxation and work. We are also thrilled that you appreciated the quality and value of the food in our restaurant, as well as the friendly and accommodating nature of our staff.Your intention to choose our hotel for all future visits of the region is the highest compliment we could receive, and we truly appreciate your loyalty. We look forward to welcoming you back and continuing to provide you with an outstanding experience.

Nice hotel, if you are there by car

Nice Hotel which has everything you’d ask for and seems pretty new. Unfortunately the bar/restaurant was closed but it is a bit off so you need anyway a car to go places.Everything else is very good! Staff, room size, room quality, cleanliness, car charging etc. etc. Pascal Kuettel, Directeur général at Afterwork Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay. As you mentioned, our location is indeed best suited for guests with cars, which allows us to offer amenities like ample parking and charging stations. We're working on expanding our on-site dining options to better serve all our guests.Your positive comments about our facilities mean a lot to us and will be shared with our team. No Work Desks
16 Mar 2025
The only problem I had with their rooms is that they did not provide a comfortable desk and cushioned chair to do work. Even the lower end hotels like Holiday Inn do this. For business travelers who have work to do while at the hotel, this is not a friendly environment for that. Perhaps they could have specific rooms that are more business guest friendly than others; just something to think about. Otherwise, everything else at the hotel was very good. Pascal Kuettel, Directeur général at Afterwork Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for your valuable feedback! We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay overall. We understand the importance of a comfortable workspace for business travelers and appreciate your suggestion. Your input helps us improve, and we will certainly take this into consideration for future enhancements. Next time ask the reception about this point and we will be sure that we can help. We hope to welcome you back soon! ???

Nice comfortable hotel
16 Nov 2024
As I was staying on my own I felt safe and comfortable with this hotel. Nice to have a quiet area to relax and not always having to stay in your room. Rooms were bright, spacious, clean and comfortable plus free parking right under the hotel a bonus for a single woman. Only a personal thought shower gel and shampoo in bathroom very good but maybe add conditioner as well. Breakfast was very good with many choices. Pascal Kuettel, Directeur général at Afterwork Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for your kind feedback and for taking the time to share your experience with us.We’re delighted to hear that you felt safe and comfortable during your stay and that you enjoyed the quiet relaxation areas as well as the bright and spacious rooms. Providing a comfortable and secure environment for all our guests is one of our top priorities, and we're especially pleased to know it was appreciated.Your suggestion about adding conditioner to the bathroom amenities is greatly appreciated, and we will definitely consider it to further enhance our guests' experience. We’re also glad you enjoyed our breakfast selection and found the free parking convenient. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future for another pleasant stay!Warm regards,The AFTERWORK Hotel Team
