Chose the hotel for its central location and the (assumed) 4 star service. The room was okay and the location was great. However, I’ve been extremely disappointed with their service. First, during check-in the kiosk check-in did not work. It was 3:45 pm and it said the room was not ready yet although check-in was at 3:00 pm. Other people had the same issues and there was a cue from the reception to the entrance with only 1 person working. When I asked the person about the kiosk, they were indifferent. It took almost 1 hour to get checked in. Second, I forgot my dental braces next to the sink. I contacted the hotel the same day and they told me to just call again next morning. I called next morning where the lady was oddly vague on the phone. She first said „oh the person who did the house cleaning is not here, we cannot check. We checked one place, maybe we can check more places.“ After these two interactions, I already had little hope that anyone would put some effort into looking for them. Of course no one got back to me with an update. I called again at the end of the day, where another lady picked up the phone. She only said „ah sorry did not find anything“ before I could specify what I was looking for. When I specified what I was looking for and whether she could check with housekeeping, her response was just again „sorry did not find - have a nice day“. Rather baffled, I sent an email to the owner of the place, who reacted quickly and said he was going to look for them and dismount the whole sink. I told him that that’s not necessary because I left them in a glas with water to clean them next to the sink. They then swore that the housekeeping did not find a glas filled with water and that all staff are trained to report an lost items. Given the low level of service and lack of engagement of all the staff there, I highly doubt that someone would put in the effort of reporting it to the reception. Sad to know that I’ll need to spend a large amount of money on new braces, because their staff could not care less. If you want to stay at a place that provides great customer service for the price they charge, stay elsewhere.

Nice Hotel near the Metro and Gare. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Only minutes from beautiful Ouchy on the Metro.The quality of the towels etc was poor, they need new ones. Breakfast was quite good, not amazing but adequate. A late check out costs Good sized room, air con not cool enough as hot outside. Overall it was perfectly fine.

+ Modern hotel, conveniently located near the central train station.+ The room was very spacious. - Unfortunately, the staff, in my opinion, seemed unmotivated and unprofessional.- I never saw a single smile. When I made a legitimate complaint at reception about the breakfast, I was simply told that there was nothing they could do. To make matters worse, the receptionist even shrugged her shoulders, as if she didn’t care about the situation at all.- Breakfast costs CHF 20 per person, which is far too expensive considering there were no fresh products available. The coffee machine was not working properly, and to top it all off, while we were still having breakfast, our table was cleared away and our hotel key cards were taken from the table. We ended up standing there with an egg in our hands but no table to sit at!-The only response we got was, “Yes, no problem!” ???? Their level of English was also quite poor.

When I saw the amenities, it said air conditioning but when I got there, they mentioned it depends on the months when we can turn it on. This means leaving the window open just to stay comfortable but doing so means allowing the noise of the busy street to come in the room. The receptionists were also very very rude and cold. WORST STAY EVER.

An amazingly big, beautiful hotel, with plants everywhere inside the lobby and restaurants. Our room had a wall of windows, and it was very reasonably priced. The hotel was about 10 minutes from the train station, it was a bit of an uphill climb, but well worth it. The hotel is close to the city center and the staff was very helpful. The room was huge, clean, comfortable, and quiet. We definitely plan to return to this hotel, as it is in the center of things, and the train station has so many shops and amenities, and the room we stayed in was amazing.
