This appealing luxury hotel lies amidst 40,000 m² of charming parkland on the shores of Lake Geneva affording a breathtaking view of the lake and the French Alps. The nearest train station is approximately 2 km away, whilst Geneva Airport is 60 km away. Links to the public transport network lie about 300 m away.

The hotel was built in 1861. 180 rooms and 12 suites are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a mini fridge. A trouser press is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi are provided as well.     An Unforgettable Stay at the Beau-Rivage Palace

    It was our first stay at the Beau-Rivage Palace, as we were attending the IMD Gala Dinner, and from the moment we arrived, we were completely blown away.The property is absolutely stunning, both inside and out, with an incredible setting overlooking Lake Geneva. What made our stay particularly memorable, however, was the service. The staff were warm, attentive and genuinely hospitable, making us feel incredibly welcome and ensuring our stay was comfortable from beginning to end.Having stayed at many beautiful hotels across Switzerland — and living in Zurich ourselves — we can confidently say that the Beau-Rivage Palace is the most beautiful hotel we have experienced in Switzerland.This certainly won’t be our last visit.     A charming hotel with a fantastic view!

    We're for 2 nights with our kids (19/16). The terrace is fantastic; staff is so friendly and they try their best. We had a bit of an issue with the check-in time when being assigned our rooms, but the person in charge later sent an apology note along with a nice touch. Much appreciated! We'll definitely be back!     Disappointing stay

    This stay did not meet our expectations.The property is beautiful and the location is unmatched. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end.First, we arrived around 14:15. At the door, the bellman insisted on us giving him our luggage even though we tried not to. He assured us he would take the bags straight up to our room. At the reception desk, we were told our room was not ready (not a problem or surprising, but why we wanted to keep our bags as we needed items out of them). We got our bags and items back and then left them with the bellman.The bags were later brought to our room after it was ready but one of our bags was missing. Luckily it was quickly located and brought to the room.We had breakfast included with our stay. On our first day, we were seated for breakfast and a coffee order was taken. There was then no explanation of how the breakfast worked. We waited for over 15 minutes, trying multiple times to flag down a server. They finally explained we could use the buffet as well as order eggs from the menu but promptly walked away. Someone returned about 20 minutes later to ask if we’d like to order anything. At this point, it had already been so long that we decided not to order anything as we had eaten from the buffet.We spent the day out of the hotel and returned after 1500. Our room had not been serviced. We also had a lakefront room and wanted to sit on the balcony. I messaged the hotel via WhatsApp to ask if our room would be serviced and also for assistance with the retractable awning on the balcony. The only response I received was asking my room number which I provided. They then did not respond at all.The lights/electricity in the room are very complicated. I see this now from many other reviews but the lights can only be turned off a certain way if you want the AC to stay on. Even when following the instructions provided by the hotel staff, all of the lights would not turn off and one night our AC did not work at all.Overall, the physical property is beautiful but the service leaves much to be desired,particularly for an alleged 5 star hotel.
