No recognition
10 Aug 2025
Today was our 30. Anniversary, unfortunately no recognition. It was mentioned before. Very poor service, specially the French Lady at the restaurant didn’t like to speak in English and she told that to us in person. Olivier Serror, Propriétaire at Novotel Lausanne Bussigny, responded to this review Dear Fecir M,Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay. I sincerely apologize for the lack of recognition on your special anniversary and the service you experienced at the restaurant. Your comments are valuable, and we appreciate your input.Best regards,Olivier Serror

Room smells of vomit or dirty shoes!

The room reeked of vomit or dirty shoes. At checkout, the receptionist attempted to charge me 100 CHF for breakfast, which was already included in the price! Naturally, I declined to pay the extra charge!

Once dependable, now disappointing..
10 Apr 2025
I've stayed at Novotel Lausanne Bussigny multiple times over the last 30 years, usually with my wife, or family and friends as we pass through Switzerland on our travels. It's always been a dependable, clean hotel with genuinely friendly staff—a rare consistency that I've appreciated. One of the highlights for me has always been the open, serene views of the Swiss Alps from the garden, terrace, and dining halls. Sadly, that’s now a thing of the past. A new development has completely blocked that view, and with it, much of the charm that made this spot so special. What’s more, the hotel has become incredibly busy—mostly due to the numerous Tesla Superchargers now installed. While I support EV infrastructure, it’s clear the hotel’s parking lot wasn’t designed for this kind of traffic. Parking is now a headache, and it's incredibly frustrating to see petrol cars occupying EV charge spots with zero enforcement in place. Nothing irritates more than that kind of inconsiderate behavior going unchecked. On top of that, the hotel now hosts commercial events that are far too large for the space. These gatherings take over the entire atmosphere, making it feel less like a relaxing stopover and more like you’ve wandered into a conference center by accident.Still, the staff remain friendly and the rooms are clean—but it’s clear that Novotel Lausanne Bussigny is prioritizing business over balance now. A real shame for those of us who used to come here for a quiet, scenic break. Olivier Serror, Propriétaire at Novotel Lausanne Bussigny, responded to this review Dear Justin D,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent experiences at Novotel Lausanne Bussigny. We truly value your loyalty over the past 30 years and appreciate your kind words about our staff and the cleanliness of our rooms. We understand the disappointment caused by the changes in the hotel's surroundings, particularly the obstruction of the views that have been a highlight for many of our guests. We acknowledge that the increase in traffic due to the Tesla Superchargers has impacted the parking situation. We are continually assessing our parking policies to enhance the experience for all our guests.Regarding the events hosted at the hotel, we strive to balance the needs of our business and leisure guests. Your comments will be taken into consideration as we work towards providing a more harmonious environment for all.Thank you once again for your insights, and we hope to welcome you back in the future.Best regards,Novotel Lausanne Bussigny

Great Location

Compared to other Novotels I've stayed at, this one fell slightly short in service level and amenities, with no recognition for Platinum members. I'm unlikely to stay here again, but I must admit that the cleanliness and friendliness of most front desk staff, particularly one who went "above & beyond" to assist me at 1.30am (Sorry I couldn't remember his name) Olivier Serror, Propriétaire at Novotel Lausanne Bussigny, responded to this review Dear Shihan A, thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize for falling short of your expectations regarding the service level and amenities. We appreciate your kind words regarding the cleanliness and friendliness of our front desk staff, especially during your late-night assistance. We will address your concerns internally to enhance the experience for all our guests. We truly hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide a more remarkable stay. Best regards, Novotel Lausanne Bussigny
