    Perfect location, all the staff were so friendly and helpful. View from the room was beautiful with the lake and seeing Mt. Pilatus, can also see the sunset. Love being able to swim in the lake and the bus stop is directly across the street and only took about 10 min to get to downtown. We didn’t want to leave and would definitely stay here again.     The Hermitage in Lake Lucerne was a wonderful stop during our recent vacation. What can I say? The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. If you needed something, we always got service with a smile. When we opened our shades we had an amazing view of Lake Lucerne and a gorgeous, snow capped mountain.     Exceptional Service and Surprisingly Very Family Friendly Stay Away From the City

    Our stay at Hermitage, though short, was nothing short of wonderful. The views from our room could not be beat. It is about a 10 minute drive from city center but was exactly what we needed at the end of our trip to just relax and unwind. Getting to the city however also couldn’t be easier with the bus line literal steps from the main entrance. Just as amazing as the views was the service we received even before stepping foot onto the property. I had some questions regarding navigating there from the train station as well as had some requests as we were traveling with our 1.5 year old and the team at Hermitage truly delivered. They were very responsive by email and even moved us to a corner room so it was quieter and less disruptive for our young daughter. They even gave her a cute little stuffed animal at check-in. Mar at the front desk was exceptional and made us feel welcome the second we entered and throughout our stay as well. She provided us with great restaurant recommendations as well! We were able to take the paddle boat out with our daughter and although it started raining shortly after, was a fun little (complementary) activity that we were able to enjoy. My husband also was able to enjoy a SUP on another day. On the side of the property was a small playground that my daughter got to enjoy as well. 100% would recommend staying here and would stay here again especially if you want somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of the city and want some time to truly relax but still enjoy the perks of being right on Lake Lucerne!
