Nice hotel, good location, reasonably priced.

I have stayed twice in this hotel. It is a short walk from the Luzern Train station. The reception is very friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The Breakfast buffet offers something for everyone. The Peruvian restaurant that is on the ground floor of the hotel is excellent.

    Lovely Hotel

Whilst this is not a 5 star hotel, you have everything you need. Yes it’s basic but it’s spotlessly clean with friendly polite staff. The rooms have tv, tea/coffee facilities, comfy beds and bathroom with soap, shower gel/shampoo and soft towels. The breakfast is mainly continental style but you can have hot sausages with scrambled eggs; a good selection of yogurt, fruit, rolls, croissants, jams etc. This hotel is perfect for weekend stays. 10 minutes walk from the train station, old town and Chapel Bridge or there are regular buses from the bus stop just around the corner from the hotel for a 3 stop ride. Only downside is this hotel doesn’t appear to cater for accessible needs

    A depressing hotel!!

The two stars is for the staff help checking in. The hotel needs major overhaul. Elevator was not working and climbing few levels with suit cases for my age was not easy. The room is too small and receipticals could not be reached to plug in chargers. Looks like beds were made for kids or an outdated antiquated IKEA kits. Veneers are pealing off from furnitures. We ended up with this hotel as part of our grand train tour of Swiss from Switzerland Travel center and that is another story. With the prices they charge in Switzerland I personally expect better rooms and better description rather than copying and pasting hotel marketing stuff.

Sorry - I'm sure there's something better for the price

Lucerne is crazy expensive but even with that I did have a few expectations. The beds are rock hard and pillows are a joke. The first day we had breakfast the eggs were not fully cooked and it turned my stomach to see them. Most of the staff are excellent but when we asked for our room to be made up we were very surprised that the used cup and teabag were still on the counter when we got back to the hotel later that afternoon.I'm writing this at 4:00 a.m. from the hotel. We are certainly getting our exercise and fresh air but even exhaustion isn't helping us to sleep on these beds.

    Don’t go!

The worst hotel ever been.Mini rooms mini bath room only one mini elevator. No A/C with a heat wave situation. No lobby.Located near the historical center but ( we were with a tour) the bus had to park in an avenue and take the bags out in the middle of the street with trolleys, trucks and cars passing by.
