    Peaceful lakeside hotel with great restaurant

    This hotel is beautifully located by the lake and very easy to reach from the highway, which makes it perfect for a stopover. Despite the convenient location, it is very quiet and relaxing.The rooms are simple and functional, but clean and comfortable. The highlight of the stay was definitely the restaurant – excellent food, with a lovely terrace and a cozy fireplace inside.Overall, a very pleasant and well-maintained place to stay.

    The hotel & restaurant are situated at a magnificent location, some rooms have view on the lake (which I prefer you to book). A swim in the lake is possible and relaxing. Restaurant is nice and tasteful, but expensive. Rooms are old style and small, which is disappointing when you see the tariff.

    The Hotel is in breathtaking location on the lake . The views from the Restaurant at the back of the hotel were superb. The staff were all lovely very friendly and helpful Especially the young Italian lady on Reception. The food and service at the Restaurant was excellent we had a great dinner here. Breakfast was also goodThe Room was a little disappointing it was quite small and would definitely benefit from some air conditioning in the hot weather and some triple glazing as unfortunately the road at the back of the hotel was noisy. This however did not spoil our stay here.We explored Beckenreid which is lovely we used the local buses which stop very close to the hotel , we even went up the cable car to the top of the mountain the views were amazing.Lucerne was easy to travel to and from with a bus from Beckenreid to stans and a train to Lucerne and vice versa.We even had an afternoon out on the ferry as a foot passenger and had some great views of the lake .

    Fabulous even in the rain

    Another amazing experience stopping on lake Lucerne. The view from our balcony was breath taking even though it was pouring with rain, we managed to take some photos before the clouds rolled in. Extensive menu, and a traditional continental breakfast with lovely teas and coffee. The local restaurant across the way was very welcoming and lots of community spirit.
