  Terrible Stay: don’t stay here!!

  Sandra Jativa and the staff handled a situation horribly during my stay. The room had what appeared to be black mold and was completely unacceptable to stay in. Instead of taking responsibility, staff gave misleading information, told us to go through Booking.com for a refund, then later denied everything and changed their story.The entire experience was dishonest, unprofessional, and disgusting.   Budget hotel prices yes, but please put a lock or even a latch on the toilet door for room 128

  I usually won't write this but I want to warn anyone who stays in room 128....be warned. There's no lock or latch in the toilet door. No privacy for anyone who isn't alone and needs to use the toilet privately . To me that's a basic right- to be able to lock a toilet door. What if it was a woman wanting a sanitary change? Ibis Budget Lucerne, please put a lock on the door. Or even just a latch. A toilet door that just swings in the breeze when you want some privacy belongs in a barn! Not a hotel. Otherwise, lovely breakfast. Rooms are tiny- but then it's called "budget" so I can't complain. JUST A LOCK OR AT LEAST A LATCH ON THE TOILET DOOR OF ROOM 128! PLEASE!   Stayed here for two nights. Staff are friendly. Location is great - only a short walk into the old town - and room was comfortable. Would have liked a kettle in the room to make tea/coffee in the mornings and the room was very warm (our air con was rubbish!). Comfortable bed and a great stay!   Exceptional Service and Perfect Location at Ibis Budget Luzern

  I stayed at Ibis Budget Luzern and had a very pleasant experience overall. The location is one of its strongest points—just a short walk to and from Luzern SBB, which made moving around the city and taking trains very convenient.Our room was memorable in a simple, comforting way. It had a cozy, boarding-house feel that made it easy to relax and rest well. We slept comfortably and genuinely enjoyed spending time in the room, which added a lot to our stay.The staff also made a positive impression. Arfi (Rossini) from the Front Office was welcoming, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. Joyce, who oversees the breakfast service, was kind, accommodating, and consistently attentive, making mornings pleasant.
