    BEG BUGS

    BED BUGS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! We thought we got a great deal with this place, but boy were we wrong. Bed bugs sighted on walls and curtains, and the worst part is that when we pointed it out to a manager, she knew! Other rooms had been infested previously.

    Bedbugs everywhere in the room. I have had more than 300 pimples in one night. In the morning, you can even see the bugs running in the room. Run away before it's too late and you bring bedbugs at home !

    The room was reasonable for the price. I just wrote this review to warn others about the terrible value for the breakfast. This is subcontracted to a budget cafe across the road attached to a service station. I do not want to criticise the cafe as it is very cheap but it was not an acceptable breakfast for the price we were charged. The hotel subcontracts the cafe and charges an exhorbitant mark up to the customer. Very poor value.

    DO NOT BOOK HERE! At least in the summer if you want to actually sleep.At least 2 of the rooms air con didn’t work, sadly including mine and it was 35c outside and in! I was rudely told by reception all the rooms had the same air con so knocked on a 3rd door on my floor and they had a lovely cool room. I even checked their air con settings vs mine.To make it all worse, the customer service was and still is worse than appalling. Repeated efforts to speak to a manager ignored. Even after I left a hand written note at reception on checkout, called twice and pointlessly filled out their post stay survey. So having tried to provide private feedback, here is my public feedback!

    Don’t expect A/C as advertised and repugnant front desk guy

    So I understand any lodging with A/C in Europe is a coin toss but decent properties and owner-operators are honest and simply state they don’t have A/C. This place is unconventionally the farthest from Swiss decency possible. They market themselves as having A/C. Room as hotter than lobby. Went to ask lobby staff (lady is nice but huh with no hair is simply repugnant). His excuse was it’s hot outside. I had to inform the gentleman that many cities around the world are hot during the summer and A/C works in all of them. He simply could care less. Owners should either thanks this guy for his service and send him off to some hostel with uncaring paying guests but any half decent hotel can’t afford this type of treatment post-Covid. This is what makes business go broke. Terrible front desk service (from the guy). Repugnant individual honestly. If you read my over 110 reviews you’ll note I never have harsh words for people. This guy deserves them.
