outstanding hotel in Lugano
20 Sept 2026
Luganodante was the best hotel we stayed at in a 2-week trip that included Geneva, Zermatt, Lugano, and Luzerne. The breakfast was incredible, the one dinner we had was excellent and the room is well-designed and appointed. I would only be careful when making reservations- I thought I was going directly to the hotel, but learned after booking that an agency charged a really high booking fee. Be careful! Carlo Fontana, General Manager at Luganodante Boutique & Lifestyle Hotel, responded to this review Dear TedinMadison,Thank you very much for your kind words and for choosing Luganodante during your journey through Switzerland. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay, our breakfast, dinner, and the design of your room. It is wonderful to know that your experience with us was such a memorable part of your trip.We are sorry to hear about the additional booking fee you encountered. When a reservation is made through a travel agency or another booking channel, any additional fees or commissions are determined by the respective booking channel and are not part of the hotel’s rates. Unfortunately, we are therefore unable to influence these charges. We truly appreciate you sharing this information with our future guests, and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Luganodante on your next visit to Lugano.Best regards,Carlo Fontana, GM
