Location

Especially suited for long stays, families or business trips, this resort is approximately 2 km from the centre of Lugano, where guests will find numerous shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife as well as the train station and Lake Lugano. Links to the public transport network are to be found just 500 metres from the city hotel, while the Lido di Lugano public beach is around a 10-minute drive. Other nearby places of interest include the Swissminiatur miniature park (5 km), Bellinzona Castles (25 km) and the FoxTown Factory Stores (15 km). Como is around half an hour by car from the hotel and the city of Milan is approximately an hour's drive.

Facility

30 suites are located on 2 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a newspaper stand. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Most of rooms include a balcony or terrace as a standard feature.     This is the best hotel in Lugano. I keep coming back again and again — for more than ten years now. Every time I visit, I choose this hotel without hesitation. It truly is exceptional.The view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking. The lake view is one of the most beautiful landscapes you can imagine. The quality of the food, the rooms, and the reception service is outstanding. Everything in this hotel feels refined and sophisticated.Each stay makes you feel special, and every time you experience genuine pleasure from spending time here. The reception staff deserve special recognition — their level of service is exceptional.     A very pleasant stay!

    The room/views were excellent. A truly enjoyable experience. For improvement- during our stay there was a lot of noise in the corridor (vacuuming, staff speaking loudly, etc). Before arriving, we were invited to an online dinner "upgrade" (a special 5 course meal) for 170 CHF per person), but the hotel staff and concierge didn't seem to know anything about this. Despite the initial confusion about the meal, the concierge (Giorgio) assured us that we would be taken care of us and, the meal that we had was truly spectacular! Thank you Giorgio! Nevertheless, when we checked out, the meal was not on the hotel bill and I had to remind them to charge us 340 CHF for this exceptional dinner (ouch!). But overall, we would definitely recommend the hotel and restaurant.
