Modern Hotel Very Close to Train Station & Old Town

I stayed two nights in a Deluxe Double room and was very satisfied. The hotel is immediately adjacent to one of the entrances to the train station platforms, where there is a grocery store. Walking through the station leads you directly into the old town. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. The room was clean and everything worked properly, including the mini fridge and in-rooom safe. The water flow in the shower was wonderful. This hotel is a great place to stay while visiting Schaffhausen. a fantastic hotel

When I was outside the hotel and couldn’t find the entrance to the lobby, a staff member from the restaurant kindly came out with a smile and guided me.He even recognized me during breakfast the following days and warmly spoke to me.The service of the hotel was excellent, and the restaurant was absolutely delicious — especially the latte macchiato, which was outstanding.I would definitely love to stay here again when I come back to Switzerland.Thank you very much! Awful bed but nice otherwise

Clean, friendly staff and breakfast was above average. Booked a large suite because we're a family of four and wanted the extra space. The downside was that the large bed in the main room (for parents or a couple) was a pull-out sofa bed with a horrible mattress. We couldn't sleep for several nights in a row and woke up in a bad mood. Not the way to spend a vacation. I feel that for 350 a night a real bed could have been provided. If it weren't for that would have given it 4-5 stars.
