Excellent hotel, very pristine, spotlessly clean, rooms with all the necessary commodities, very comfortable, cozy and a feeling of being "at home". Staff very friendly, attentive, helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed the sumptuous breakfast buffet which was very well presented offered a wide choice of tasty food, at the same time also complying with special wishes from the guests. This is a hotel that can be highly recommended, very centrally located in the heart of the city, with public transport stations literally at the front door, as well as garage parking facilities if traveling by car.My husband and I had a most enjoyable stay..

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. All staff were really friendly, and the room and public areas were spotless. Great choice at breakfast, even for us vegetarians!

    OK, but nothing special.

    rating21 May 2025

Expensive for what you get. The hotel just feels a little tired and rundown, although in fairness, everything was clean. The breakfast in the morning was fine, but nothing special. All in all, it just felt as though the hotel wasn't really trying too hard. A pity, because it was not cheap!! Radisson Blu SG Hotel, General Manager at Radisson Blu Hotel, St. Gallen, responded to this review Dear Davidg116,Thank you for sharing your impressions of your recent stay with us.We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience did not fully meet your expectations. While we’re glad to know that you found everything to be clean and the breakfast service adequate, we regret that the overall atmosphere and value for money did not leave a more positive impression.Your comments about the hotel feeling somewhat tired are taken seriously. We are aware that certain areas of the property could benefit from updates, and we are actively reviewing refurbishment plans to enhance the overall guest experience. It is certainly never our intention to give the impression that we are not fully committed to our guests’ satisfaction — quite the opposite. Your feedback is a valuable reminder of where we can and must do better.Thank you again for your honesty. We hope you might consider giving us another chance in the future to offer you a stay that reflects the quality and service we strive to deliver.Kind regards,Tarik AyvazFront Office Manager

    2nd stay, will come again

    rating02 Feb 2025

Happy with my stay and the service. Will stay again, my expectations were fully met.I am naming one negative point: the ironing board in room 522 is mounted in the drawer and meant to be pulled out. However, the door of the drawer cannot be openend that far, so the ironing board is unusable. Front desk reacted quickly and brought me ironing board and iron. So the issue was well solved. Radisson Blu SG Hotel, General Manager at Radisson Blu Hotel, St. Gallen, responded to this review Dear Andreas BThanks for staying with Radisson Blu and taking time to leave such a lovely review. I am very happy to see you satisfied with your stay. Thank you also for giving us this hint on the ironing board. Our technician will look at it and see if he can come up with a solution.Looking forward to your next stay with us. Are you already a Radisson Reward Member? There is lot of advantages to it for regular guests.Best regardsErich Dasen, GM
