    Beautiful Hotel but Experienced Issues

    The double comfort rooms are roomy and comfortable although the beds were not the most comfortable. The half board booking was a disaster - we were the only family to utilize it and it took over 2 hours to simply receive underwhelming soup, salad (if you can call it that) and meal - and we were the only patrons! Very disappointing and the hotel, while acknowledging the circumstance, did nothing to make up for the very poor service. This is a beautiful hotel and we really love the atmosphere, balcony and ambience, but the rooms are not soundproof nor do they appear to have air conditioning. Our breakfast orders were also not cooked as requested and got confused and we ended up with orders not matching our requests. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool was a key highlight and we enjoyed it very much. Upon checkout, the hotel's system was declining cards and at first we were told it was our problem, but after asking the agent to reboot their devices they finally started getting errors on their system - not our cards. At first we were asked to use an ATM down the street to get cash to pay for our rooms! I believe we probably ran into a few more issues than most people do staying at this hotel. Overall we really loved the facility, the staff, and especially the location and views!

    A lovely hotel in a stunning setting.

    We spent 3 nights half-board at the Belle Epoque. The staff were very friendly particularly in the restaurant. We enjoyed the breakfasts with a good range of fruit yoghurt, cereals, cheese, ham & bread & pastries as well as hot boiled eggs & scrambled eggs on some mornings.We had traditional veal, pork schnitzel & beef for evening meals as well as ice cream & tiramisiu for dessert. Our room was lovely & the hotel is in the centre of pretty Kandersteg with easy access to cable cars & skiing or alpine walking. We had a great stay!

    Large room with very big bathroom. Amazing view. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Good venue for our large two day meeting. Wifi could do with improvement.

    Beautiful hotel in lovely village of Kandersteg. One of my favorite hotel in Switzerland. Good value for money with rich breakfast and luxury dining experience, charming and friendly atmosphere with attention to details, cozy rooms, very professional and service oriented staff and management. Perfect for weekend gateway with family or friends. Happy to come back every year.

    We had five days in Belle Epoque Hotel Victoria, which was great. The food was lovely, the bedrooms were warm, very clean and comfortable. Kandersteg is a lovely town with lots of winter activities, the cable cars are very close, the trains and buses very good. Switzerland is expensive but we had the half board option and it made the holiday affordable. Overall very good.
