    Hugely disappointed! Not kid friendly!

    rating26 Nov 2024

Initially the staff were very accommodating for our 15+ family. The staff even let us use laundry for a small amount. Then we noticed we had to pay for our own coffee pods. During our stay our son got sick and threw up. I was careful to clean up and put all throw up in towels and trash. Then 2 days after we left, we were criticized for not alerting staff we were leaving and that we had a sick child. We were charged over $150 from our deposit. Part of the charges included charging us over $40 per towel with vomit, a lost wine glass( that we didn’t know was lost, and a cleaning fee. My sister’s family also experienced a separate $150 plus for extra cleaning, pee on comforter, and scarce food evidence on patio furniture, and furniture damage. They had no idea they damaged furniture. Both families had young kids. We found there was absolutely no margin for any messes. My whole family tried to be respectable of the property and would have never been charged in America for the minimal mess left, and dirty towels. There was no defending that we did not damaged or taken any wine glasses. The furniture damage they described and sent pictures of didn’t not appear to be damage. While they didn’t charge us, they also complained about finger prints on windows from kids. Please don’t stay here. We felt they found every reason to take our money. They say they are kid friendly but they are not.

Disappointing Stay with Hidden Fees – Avoid staying if you don't want to be taken advantage of

    rating25 Sept 2024

While we enjoyed the beautiful views at this hotel, we were extremely disappointed by the surprise fees that far exceeded the actual cost of the room. Upon checkout, we were charged for things we were never informed about, including a fee for the crib—something we've never been charged for at any other hotel, and it was never mentioned beforehand. On top of that, they automatically charged our card with outrageous fees, like 60 CHF for a towel that they claimed had stains. We were also hit with excessive "additional hours" cleaning charges that were billed at three times the average salary of a housekeeper. As frequent travelers, we've never encountered laundry or cleaning fees like these. We tried contacting the property to resolve the issue, but they responded with rude and unhelpful emails.Families and large groups should steer clear of this place. The hidden charges and poor customer service make it an experience I cannot recommend.

DO NOT STAY HERE- THEY ARE THIEVES!

    rating14 Sept 2024

Please save yourself and DO NOT STAY HERE. Their main objective is to get as much extra money out of you as possible. First thing they do is have you pay a deposit in which they will scheme some way to take as much as they can from that. Along with making ridiculous charges (ex: 60 francs for a crappy towel that was "stained" and a broken wine glass that they couldn't even give proof of) they also nickel and dime you for small things and don't tell you about it afterwards such as a crib and laundry. We stayed at other places which we used a crib and one of the kids got sick and we were never charged. They are a motel and it is part of their job to clean and provide cribs without charging hundreds extra francs for them to do the job they're supposed to do anyway. We tried to be reasonable and send a kind email trying to at least come to a compromise. They responded only with rude and snarky comments- one even being about children's hand prints on the windows, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? We then tried to contact the manager but were unable to talk to him as he is always on vacation (with the money they steal from all the hotel guests). Do not stay here unless you want to get robbed and be treated like trash.

Never done a bad review but one is needed here!

    rating13 Sept 2024

Seemed fine at first, but quickly learned about the extreme lack of customer service. First a couple petty things but they are worth mentioning. There was a lack of toilet paper and no coffee for the machine. Front desk will give these items but will charge you. Pillows and bed were awful. After checkout we found they took the damage deposit. Upon finally getting ahold of someone we were advised fingerprints were left on windows, towels and bedding was dirty, and a wine glass was broken (we never broke anything)! They advised the used towel was a charge of $40 CHF. The list of flaws they gave to take our deposit were just basic cost of business expenses but they decided to take advantage of us and take the deposit. We are middle age and treat properties with respect so this came as a shock! We tried to politely ask them to be reasonable and charge less for these silly things but they were extremely rude and would not negotiate. Had to spend time calling the credit card company. Wish I read the previous reviews on here as well as the reviews on booking.com as it seems many others have had crazy charges.

    The best is the view!

We arrived at Pentecost Weekend. The studio was really not adequate but we could not complain, because the reception was not occupied til Tuesday. Then we were allowed to move into a greater Appartement with acceptable level. Assessment below is for the original size of the studio.Leasing is totally out of season after Pentecost weekend
