    Great meal but taxi request poor response.

    Having paid over £80 plus tip for two delicious pizzas we asked our waitress to order us a taxi back to our own hotel. Her response was “ there are no taxis in Grindelwald”. Knowing this to be false I called Grindelwald taxis who picked us up 4 minutes later. We are glad to read, that you enjoyed the food and are so sorry, that our waitress gave you a wrong answer. The taxi service in Grindelwald is unfortunately a real problem, very often there are not taxis available.     Jenny’s Ski Bar was incredible!! She provided amazing serving and made it person by playing Aussie bangers in the bar and coming over to have a laugh!! Would highly recommend!!!     Boomerangs (homemade shots) at the Jenny's Ski Bar are amazing and the Aperol Spritz are a perfect chaser. Music selection puts it over the top. 5 stars, will do again!     The highlight of our visit to Grindelwald this year was reconnecting with Jenny, the owner of Jenny’s SkiBar next to the hotel. We first met two years ago and she immediately made her indelible impression as a fun, generous and welcoming lady. She’s a wonderful person and business owner/hostess who we looked forward to seeing again on our annual trek from Texas to Grindelwald. Grindelwald is an absolutely beautiful place, but it is really the connections with vivacious, joyful people like her who make your stay so pleasurable. Visiting her bar is an absolute must! You’ll NEVER forget the experience - especially downing a few of her unique “Boomerang” shots - and will no doubt begin planning frequent returns just like us! Here’s to Jenny!!!     Had a great experience at Hotel Steinbock Grindelwald. Reception women were very helpful and kind. The restaurant was amazing too, and so convenient being right below the hotel.
