    The staff was the best one we have come across during all hotel stays. They helped us with everything we needed in and out of the hotel. The location was amazing, right in the centre of Gstaad and next to the train station. The rooms were super clean and organised. Overall the whole experience was delightful. Would 100% recommend.     Centrally located charming hotel with dining options

    Charming hotel in the centre of Gstaad with onsite parking.Check in was smoothThe rooms are nice and spacious with modern bathrooms and very comfy bedsDinner outside on the terrace was lovely and had the best rosti in many years. Would advise to book the restaurant early as we missed out on our first choice although that was partly down to difficulties in communication (we don't speak German and the person didn't speak good English or French) and somewhat inattentiveness of the front desk person who knew we were deciding but chose to book a table for an outside guest right in front of us Thomas Frei, Inhaber at Hotel Bernerhof Gstaad, responded to this review Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for visiting our hotel.     Unfriendly, arrogant proprietors and the worst, overpriced Cappuccino in Gstaad.This is an old worn establishment that should be put out to pasture along with its deeply unpleasant owners. Noisy position next to a parking lot and the train station. With all of the wonderful choices for beds in Gstaad, this is the last place I would lay my head.     I seriously can not recommend this hotel enough. It is truly lovely - homely, cozy, perfectly pitched decor. But by far the winning factor - the phenomenal team. Courteous, multi lingual, natural, kind, efficient. And to boot! They clearly enjoyed their work and took pride in it. Kudos to the owners for valuing and motivating their employees!
