    Racism

    rating03 Jun 2026

Extremely racist behaviour and generalised unfair predictions based on nationality. Amina Matti, Geschäftsführer at Hotel Arc-en-ciel Gstaad, responded to this review We take every comment seriously; however, we could not find any record of your stay with us.It is true that there was a misunderstanding in 2019, for which we immediately apologised and from which we have learned.Since 2020, the Arc-en-ciel Gstaad has been run by the third generation of our family and continues to stand for genuine hospitality, openness, and respect towards guests from all over the world. If you have personally stayed with us or would like to share more details, please feel free to contact us directly at info@arc-en-ciel.ch

    Nice staying experience !!

    rating27 May 2026

The hotel is a family run property being managed by the Matti family. We specifically chose this one as we wanted to experience the famed Swiss hospitality which unfortunately is found missing in commercially run hotels & yes we were not wrong in our selection !We reached the place a bit late around 9pm but the check in experience was warm & super smooth. It was taken care of personally by the owner, right from check in to the luggage delivery in our rooms. A warm & smooth check in experience always help. We had booked for suites which were large, clean & the bathroom equipped with a shower cubicle, which also acted as a steam & hamam (now this was something unique) & we enjoyed it every morning. The location is nice, a bit away from the road, to give you a nice & quite stay experience but just 12 min walk to the promenade & the railway station. The best part was the mesmerising view from our balcony. We used to spend hours sitting there & enjoying the swiss beauty. Overall a good staying experience 😊 Amina Matti, Geschäftsführer at Hotel Arc-en-ciel Gstaad, responded to this review Thank you very much for visiting us!We greatly appreciate that you have taken the time to give us detailed review. We are very happy to pass on your compliments to our team, we are pleased to hear that you were looked after in a friendly manner. As a family-run business in the third generation, it is very important to me that the philosophy of my grandparents is passed on to our guests, and it is very nice to hear that this was the case for you. We would be very happy to welcome you again soon at the Arc-en-ciel and wish you all the best until then.Best regards, Amina Matti and family

    Would stay again

    rating20 Apr 2026

Adorable cabin like rooms. Restaurant is good. 10 min walk to the ‘city center’ and 15-20 min walk to the train station. Awesome amenities for kids like a little racetrack. I made use of the ping pong table. If you’re into skiing/snowy activities this is the spot to be, because the lift is literally across the hotel. Rooms can be a little loud at night. All in all a great experience for the price. I’d stay here again. Amina Matti, Geschäftsführer at Hotel Arc-en-ciel Gstaad, responded to this review Thank you very much for your kind review! We are very happy that you felt so comfortable with us.We would be happy to host you again soon.Warm regards from Gstaad, Amina Matti

    Fantastic Experience All Around

    rating28 Feb 2026

Maybe the best hotel experience I've had. The staff are so nice and helpful, the room was perfect - clean, ready on time, had all the right amenities. Lovely restaurant on site. I had no idea where to ski; the team at Arc were knowledgable and eager to make sure I had the best time on the slopes. The ski rental was included and the folks at Albert ski rental shop were so efficient and easy to work with. Everyone was just overly kind, friendly and always smiling. I arrived in the afternoon and since the rental shop was so efficient and the Eggli gondola is a 2 minute walk, I got to ski and extra afternoon that I hadn't planned, what a bonus!I can't say enough about this place, it's special.Extra thanks to David and Wille, you guys were so helpful with everything! Amina Matti, Geschäftsführer at Hotel Arc-en-ciel Gstaad, responded to this review Thank you so much for your kind words! We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay in Gstaad and felt so comfortable with us.As family owned and managed hotel your words mean a lot to us.We will happoily pass on your compliments to David and Wael, which is a great motivation. We would be pleased to welcome you again very soon!Warm regards, Amina Matti

Very good Hotel in an excellent location.

    rating10 Feb 2026

Stayed in an apartment in the Micheline Chalet next to the hotel, sking the first week in February. The Eggli gondola is ideally located less than a minute from the hotel making the ski area so accessible.Accommodation was spacious, well designed and spotlessly clean. There is a superb private spa in the basement. The hotel is family owned and expertly managed .Staff were extremely friendly and helpful . Ambiance in the hotel was pleasant and relaxed .This hotel is more four star than three. You can eat in the restaurant or pizzeria. Food was acceptable. You can walk into the village centre in 10 to 15 mins.Would strongly recommend the restaurant in the Post Hotel Rossli or the bar in the Olden, should you feel like splashing out a bit. This was my third visit to Arc en Ciel and hopefully will return soon. Amina Matti, Geschäftsführer at Hotel Arc-en-ciel Gstaad, responded to this review Thank you for choosing Arc-en-ciel again for your stay in Gstaad. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you liked our food. We will be happy to pass on your compliments to our team, as this is a great source of motivation for them! We look forward to welcoming you back soon and wish you all the best until then. Amina Matti & family
