  Spa experience ruined by strict nudity policy

  My experience at the Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen was unfortunately completely ruined by the spa.I was peacefully relaxing in the sauna when I was suddenly told off and asked to leave immediately simply because I was wearing a swimsuit. I find this rule unreasonable and out of place, especially considering that for many people it is a matter of comfort and personal boundaries.Even more uncomfortable was the overall atmosphere: many people were completely naked, with visible exposure of their genitals and no sense of discretion. Rather than feeling like a space for relaxation and wellness, it felt closer to an environment of exhibitionism, which made the entire experience deeply unpleasant.I understand that some spas justify this policy for hygiene reasons or concerns about synthetic fabrics. However, if that were truly the case, there are far more inclusive alternatives—such as allowing cotton underwear or giving guests a choice based on their comfort level.It is completely unreasonable that full nudity is enforced and normalized, while wearing a swimsuit is not allowed. This policy made me feel very uncomfortable and is difficult to justify.As an international brand like Radisson Blu, I would expect much greater sensitivity in creating spaces that are inclusive and respectful of different cultural norms and personal comfort levels.I strongly encourage the hotel to reconsider these policies and adopt a more flexible and respectful approach for all guests. This is primarily based on hygiene, as synthetic swimwear can release vapors in high temperatures and prevents the skin from breathing and sweating naturally. However, we completely understand that this cultural norm can be a significant adjustment and may feel restrictive or even intrusive depending on personal and cultural backgrounds.While we currently adhere to these regional standards, we do provide large towels, and we encourage guests to wrap themselves comfortably to maintain their personal privacy while inside the saunas.   We visited the spa area for 1 day and it was amazing. All the facilities are in great condition, the pool is big, the view is incredible. The service at spa reception was really nice and friendly, we got spare swimming goggles for the kid, as well as caring and friendly attitude throughout our visit.   Hotel is nice and modern, well located and with nice amenities. Breakfast is good. However, somethings can be improved to provide better comfort for guests - nicer pillows, less noise in the morning, adult only spa area.   Hidden gem for family ski holiday

  Wonderful family experience with spacious rooms which are both clean and had plentiful storage. Their swimming pool was great for the kids and ski hire was just outside the front door. It’s around five minutes to walk to one of the well service lifts where you can get a ski pass and access some runs as well as ski school which we did not use on this occasion. Transfer time from Zürich was around 90 minutes and parking under the hotel was easy. Breakfast had good options with only a wait for the omelette station. The hotel was very friendly and inclusive of family groups as well as couples from my observations. We emailed several times before we good advice given. The walk to restaurants in town was just beyond the ski lift so very short and easy.   Our third time staying here and once again, an excellent experience. This hotel is a fantastic base for a ski trip and continues to impress us in so many ways. The location is ideal, just steps from the ski lifts, making it incredibly easy to get on and off the slopes each day. The ski locker room is also excellent and extremelly convenient. The hotel facilities are great and the rooms are a real highlight. Both the bedroom and bathroom are very spacious with thoughtful details that make a big difference and beautiful views of the little mini town. After long days in the snow, it's good to return back to the hotel to enjoy the pool and spa.It's simply amazing after a full day of snowboarding. I especially loooovveeee the bar offers a great selection of cocktails, served by super friendly staff. There is even a pool room to enjoy your evening with a drink. Breakfast is excellent, with a wide buffet of high-quality options as well as a side à la carte menu. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we need.Radisson Blu Andermatt is a wonderful choice for anyone visiting the area.
