  Exceptional service

  29 Apr 2026

I only had dinner at the lobby bar, but the experience was so great that I must leave a review just to thank the staff. We arrived as we were in desperate need of food after a long day of driving. We decided to have a break and search for a restaurant from the hotel. They offered us to eat at the lobby bar. The burgers were amazing. But special thank you for the young man, who told us how to avoid the extremely vad traffic on the highway. Without him we would have been stuck for hours. Thats the type of service you cant find in most places nowadays! Marc D Baer, Gästeservice/Empfang at Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen, Andermatt, responded to this review Dear Mr. Patrik,Thank you so much for taking the time to share this wonderful experience with us!It is heartening to hear that we could provide a "culinary sanctuary" for you after a long and exhausting day on the road. We are thrilled that you enjoyed our burgers at the BärBar—there is nothing quite like a good meal to recharge those batteries. Most importantly, I will be sure to pass your kind words on to the young man who assisted you with the traffic advice. At the Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen, we believe that true hospitality goes beyond serving food or providing a bed; it is about looking out for our guests and sharing our local knowledge to make their journey smoother. Knowing that his tip saved you hours of frustration is the best feedback we could receive. We hope that your next visit to Andermatt allows for a more relaxed stay, perhaps giving you time to enjoy our Uela Spa or a cozy evening by the fireplace in our lobby.Safe travels whenever you are back on the alpine passes, and we look forward to welcoming you again!Warm regards,Your Radisson Blu Team

Spa experience ruined by strict nudity policy

  31 Mar 2026

My experience at the Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen was unfortunately completely ruined by the spa.I was peacefully relaxing in the sauna when I was suddenly told off and asked to leave immediately simply because I was wearing a swimsuit. I find this rule unreasonable and out of place, especially considering that for many people it is a matter of comfort and personal boundaries.Even more uncomfortable was the overall atmosphere: many people were completely naked, with visible exposure of their genitals and no sense of discretion. Rather than feeling like a space for relaxation and wellness, it felt closer to an environment of exhibitionism, which made the entire experience deeply unpleasant.I understand that some spas justify this policy for hygiene reasons or concerns about synthetic fabrics. However, if that were truly the case, there are far more inclusive alternatives—such as allowing cotton underwear or giving guests a choice based on their comfort level. It is completely unreasonable that full nudity is enforced and normalized, while wearing a swimsuit is not allowed. This policy made me feel very uncomfortable and is difficult to justify. As an international brand like Radisson Blu, I would expect much greater sensitivity in creating spaces that are inclusive and respectful of different cultural norms and personal comfort levels.I strongly encourage the hotel to reconsider these policies and adopt a more flexible and respectful approach for all guests. Marc D Baer, Gästeservice/Empfang at Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen, Andermatt, responded to this review Dear Ms. Giulia,Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent visit to our Uela Spa. I sincerely appreciate the time you took to detail your experience, as it provides us with an important perspective on how our policies impact our international guests.I am truly sorry to hear that you felt uncomfortable and that your relaxation was interrupted. To provide some context, the "textile-free" policy in our sauna area follows a long-standing tradition in the Alpine regions of Switzerland, Germany, and Austria. This is primarily based on hygiene, as synthetic swimwear can release vapors in high temperatures and prevents the skin from breathing and sweating naturally. However, we completely understand that this cultural norm can be a significant adjustment and may feel restrictive or even intrusive depending on personal and cultural backgrounds. While we currently adhere to these regional standards, we do provide large towels, and we encourage guests to wrap themselves comfortably to maintain their personal privacy while inside the saunas. Furthermore, the sauna policy is clearly visible while entering the sauna area.We have also received feedback from a couple of our guests that you did not respect the rules in the sauna as you were wearing a bathing suit and shoes.Warm regards,Your Radisson Blu Management

Spa visit as external guest - amazing

  29 Mar 2026

We visited the spa area for 1 day and it was amazing. All the facilities are in great condition, the pool is big, the view is incredible. The service at spa reception was really nice and friendly, we got spare swimming goggles for the kid, as well as caring and friendly attitude throughout our visit. Marc D Baer, Gästeservice/Empfang at Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen, Andermatt, responded to this review Dear Natature,Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback regarding your day visit to our Uela Spa! It is a pleasure to hear that you had such an "amazing" time with us.We are thrilled that you enjoyed our facilities and that the view of the surrounding Urner Alps added that extra touch of magic to your stay. It is especially heartening to know that our spa reception team could assist with the swimming goggles for your child—we believe that it’s these small, caring gestures that define true alpine hospitality. At the Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen, we strive to be a welcoming retreat not only for our overnight guests but also for our local and external visitors seeking a moment of peace and recreation. We hope to welcome you and your family back soon for another refreshing day by the pool or perhaps a cozy afternoon at our BärBar!Warm regards from Andermatt,Your Radisson Blu Team

  Nice and modern

  26 Feb 2026

Hotel is nice and modern, well located and with nice amenities. Breakfast is good. However, somethings can be improved to provide better comfort for guests - nicer pillows, less noise in the morning, adult only spa area. Marc D Baer, Gästeservice/Empfang at Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen, Andermatt, responded to this review Dear Mr. Guedes,Thank you for your review and for highlighting our modern design, the central location in Andermatt, and our breakfast buffet. We are pleased that you enjoyed the general atmosphere and amenities of our hotel. At the same time, we sincerely appreciate your honest feedback regarding your comfort. Providing a restful environment is our top priority, and we have taken your comments to heart: Pillows: We actually offer a selection of different pillows to ensure every guest finds their perfect match. Please do not hesitate to let our reception team know during your next stay – we would love to bring a different option to your room immediately. Morning Noise: We regret that your rest was disturbed. We will look into the sources of noise to ensure our guests can enjoy the quiet, alpine mornings to the fullest. Spa Area: We understand the wish for a more tranquil "Adults Only" atmosphere. While our pool is popular with families, we try to balance this by offering quiet zones in our sauna and steam bath areas. Your input is very valuable as we continuously look for ways to optimize the spa experience for all our guests. We would be delighted to welcome you back soon and provide you with an even more relaxing stay in the heart of the Swiss Alps.Warm regards,Your Radisson Blu Team

Hidden gem for family ski holiday

  26 Feb 2026

Wonderful family experience with spacious rooms which are both clean and had plentiful storage. Their swimming pool was great for the kids and ski hire was just outside the front door. It’s around five minutes to walk to one of the well service lifts where you can get a ski pass and access some runs as well as ski school which we did not use on this occasion. Transfer time from Zürich was around 90 minutes and parking under the hotel was easy. Breakfast had good options with only a wait for the omelette station. The hotel was very friendly and inclusive of family groups as well as couples from my observations. We emailed several times before we good advice given. The walk to restaurants in town was just beyond the ski lift so very short and easy. Overall, very happy Marc D Baer, Gästeservice/Empfang at Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen, Andermatt, responded to this review Dear Mr. K.,Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for describing us as a "hidden gem" for a family ski holiday! It truly warms our hearts to hear that you and your family had such a fantastic experience with us in Andermatt. We are delighted that you appreciated the spaciousness and storage in our rooms – we know how much gear a family ski trip requires! It is also great to hear that the kids enjoyed our swimming pool at the Uela Spa and that the convenience of having the ski hire right outside and the lifts just a short stroll away made your stay even smoother. Our team takes great pride in being a welcoming place for everyone, from active families to couples, so your kind words about our inclusive atmosphere and our pre-arrival communication mean a lot to us.We have also noted your feedback regarding the wait time at the omelette station. While our chefs love preparing fresh dishes to order, we will look into how we can make the process even more efficient during busy breakfast hours at Restaurant Spun.It was a pleasure having you as our guests, and we would be thrilled to welcome you back for another memorable alpine adventure – perhaps for some summer hiking or another snowy winter getaway.Warm regards from Andermatt,Ihr Radisson Blu Team
