    The Derby Hotel is conveniently located right next to the train station, perfect for skiers. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly and we were particularly grateful to Constantos, who patiently answered all our random questions about the slopes and the lifts, and gave lots of good advice.

    This quaint Zermatt hotel was really a lovely place to stay. It was right in the middle of the village, not to far from the train station. Our room was really nice and well taken care of. Great breakfast as well, with a nice group of waiters. The hotel was pretty quiet even having a room on the street side. Since it was early October, it was kind of off season, so the village wasn't overcrowded. Enjoyed the stay.

    Very quaint hotel in an extremely central location. Only a few minutes walk from the railway station and situated on the main street in Zermatt.The rooms were spacious and appeared to be recently modernised. The rest of the hotel however, looks a little bit dated.

    And the food was very, very good. I had the veal cordon bleu and the wife had a veal pasta dish that was good as well. The location right on the Main Street couldn’t have been better. The service team really took great care of our every need…Definitely,will be back.

    Visited a few evenings ago. Hadn’t booked but were shown straight to a table that had clearly just been vacated. Was a while before it was set and then we waited ages before being offered a drink and had to ask for someone to take even a drinks order. We were brought bread and butter but no knives and when I asked if we could have one the waitress seemed surprised. Mediocre pasta dishes. It would have been nicer to have been asked to wait whilst the table was prepared and customers should always be offered a drink straight away even if it’s busy. The restaurant wasn’t full…. Felt an inconvenience and frankly didn’t enjoy it. We didn’t stay long!
