    We recently stayed at the Hotel Monte Rosa in Zermatt, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. we loved this hotel.From the charming train station pickup to our check-in with Gaia at reception, everything was exceptional. Gaia is truly an asset to your property; she was cheerful, helpful, kind, and made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. Every staff member we encountered was wonderful. The breakfast was delightful and the presentation exceptional.Our room was clean and provided everything needed for a relaxing stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer, and I will definitely return to the Hotel Monte Rosa in the future.     Beautiful charming historic Hotel of the 19th century.

    We learned about the hotel while watching a documentation about Edward Whymper and the first ever ascent of the Matterhorn in 1865. He then stayed in the Monte Rosa Hotel for several times and that's why we wanted to stay there as well since we're very interested in history, historic and beautiful places and the romance and charm of the 19th century.     We really enjoyed our stay at hotel Monte Rosa. It is an easy walk from the train station. The hotel staff was very helpful and the charcuterie was great. We enjoyed sitting in front of hotel for drinks and appetizers after long travel day.
